Once upon a time, Dawn Starfall and Sunset Shimmer were rivals for the affections of Princess Celestia, and for the fame and power promised to whomever won the glorious destiny for which they competed. But Sunset left, and Dawn's dreams turned to ash as she had to watch the prize and the princess' love stolen away by another: Twilight Sparkle.

Dawn's life is in ruins, her friends are scattered, her ambitions are all but dead; until one final injury makes her angry enough to want to get back at the mare who ruined her life.

Unbeknownst to Twilight or Dawn, Sunset Shimmer has returned from the human world, with that world's versions of Dawn and Sunset in tow. Human!Dawn wants to find the world promised to her in the books she used to escape her life, Human!Sunset wants to burn it down.

And in the shadows the Raven Queen watches, waits, and makes her plans.

As Canterlot is consumed by the chaos they have unleashed, Dawn and Sunset may have to put their old rivalry aside and work together, and maybe in doing so Dawn can finally repair the shattered pieces of her life.

This is a rewrite of my earlier fic Vengeance of Dawn but I think the changes are substantial enough as to qualify as a rewrite from the ground up as specified in the content guidelines.

Going to the local arcade isn't new for Button Mash. Whenever he got his allowance, he would spend nearly every bit he earned for a few minutes of game play. During one of his game play sessions, he's surprised to be payed a visit by a filly his age who she claims to be called Double Points. Him and her engage in Gaming Combat.

Stella Vera is a crystal pony with a love for fashion. She's going to travel to Ponyville to have an expert opinion about her designs, and she's also planning to go to Canterlot. But when her reviews are negative, she visits an old friend to create the perfect dress. Can she wow Hoity Toity and be noticed throughout the fashion community?

Lord Prism, leader of the Dreadcolts, a murderous band of warriors, has been captured by Princess Celestia. His memory has been erased, in the hopes that he might become a good member of society if he learns about the meaning of Friendship. And Princess Celestia can think of no one more qualified to handle the task than her most loyal student, Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight however is not very happy about this assignment.

Will Prism see the error of his ways, or will he slip back into old habits?

An unknown, heavily injured Earth pony with a cursed gift has come to Equestria. As big as the princesses themselves and not knowing where this stallion came from, they investigate by having to enter his dream while unconscious. Only to discover that he's not who he appears to be. Leaving tons of questions needed to be answered.
Meanwhile, an unknown force that is creating chaos along its wake within the Evergreen Forest. A force capable of destroying anything and everything living.
Can all of Equestria handle defeating this new force or will they fall and who is the unknown pony in Equestria? Is he friend or foe? Will his curse bring balance to the world or destroy it?

This story takes place about a year after Sunset's story and a few months after the "Winter Bells" incident of the "Past Sins" story line. I chose these story lines because they are well written and they have inspired me to write this story.
So as a sign of respect, I wanted every character from both stories to be included in the story that i'm writing to you all. Of course , I've just asked permission from both. Hope they'll approve.
Other characters, as well as the secondary world have been created off the top of my head. There will be a few cameo references with Magic: The Gathering, Legend of Zelda OoT, and possibly others.

Discord invites Celestia to a night out, unfortunately Sun Butt graciously misunderstands ANTICS!!

Before Twilight Sparkle became Celestia's apprentice, Trixie was her best chance at finding the Element of Magic, but she had no way to know where the quest for power would lead the young Unicorn.

This story was started years ago, a few months before Season 2 even began. So canon inconsistency issues are directly because of that.

Also, this story is incomplete and will remain that way. However, dear readers, if you are so inclined, do feel free to write up your own endings/continuations, and post links to them in the comments so I and other readers can see them. I would be very interested to see what you all come up with, and am looking forward to seeing it.

A series of thievery and vandalism ruins the peaceful life in Ponyville. Fighting with dragons and weird monsters is one thing, but the ponies don't know how to deal with crimes like these, especially because they have no clue who would be able to steal from them, when making an honest living and becoming friends with the citizens would be so much better for everyone. Pinkie Pie can't stand that her friends can't smile happily because of the worry that their homes might bet broken into next. She just has to do something!
