Scootaloo and Apple Bloom get into an argument involving parents, more specifically the difference between Scootaloo's family situation and Apple Bloom's. Eventually, Scootaloo makes a hurtful remark that causes Apple Bloom to break off their friendship for the time being.

Racked with guilt for what she said, Scootaloo tries to find a way to make things right and win back Apple Bloom's friendship. But how can she when she doesn't know what it's like to grow up never truly getting to know your parents?

After some consulting and advice with her aunts, Scootaloo comes up with a solution. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom tries to come to terms with a guilt she thought she'd successfully buried.

After a mysterious earthquake, a prehistoric world opens up from underneath Equestria. From this forgotten world, dinosaurs emerge. How will Equestria's residents react to the return of these ancient creatures? Hopefully nothing bad happens.

Minor bits of gore throughout the story

While taking Chrysalis to the fair for a friendship lesson, Starlight accidentally inebriates herself. And Chrysalis has to deal with it for the whole day.

Cherry Jubilee’s lived in Dodge Junction her whole life. She knows the ropes—she’s tied them twenty times over.

A mare named Blank State and a stallion named Colter go out on a jungle trip for multiple days. What will they find out about themselves? And how will this trip change both ponies involved?

Except that now that Principal Celestia and Principal Luna know that Sunset came from another world, they have a lot of questions about where her parents are and just where she has been living for the past few years.

Equestria has seen better days even before the return of Nightmare Moon herself; of course, if one were anything like a certain princess, then perhaps the tale was already told: as a matter of fact, it was how her legacy had been cemented from the start.

On the other appendage, what many of her subjects don't know is how damaged it all is; although with proper governance and good values, trouble brewed, boiling and doubling: foreign aggression and domestic woes went in pairs matched, heavens fell, hells raised.

Such is the life of Twilight Sparkle, the princess' pupil turned princess herself as is: the time, unknown but otherwise treated as tbe dead of night itself as far as the eyes see; the place, some facility in which still remains unknown to the public, let alone kith and kin.

Written for the A Thousand Words Contest II in the Horror category, but otherwise inadmissible.

Fluttershy decides to surrogate for a couple, but doesn’t want any extra attention from anypony, and so she simply doesn’t tell anypony else.

This story was written for the New Blood contest. The prompt was “A Secret Life” and this story aims for the fourth bonus. I was compelled to take that prompt as literally as possible.

I submitted this story in the final hours of the contest; it was quite difficult to finish, this being my third or fourth attempt at finishing a story for it, and I had fun.
