Writing good fiction is challenging.
Then again, writing fiction is challenging in general... but for even more reasons.
Many moons ago, I saw all those Multi-story-spanning alternate universes rampant at the time. I thought to myself, “I could do that.” As the title of this blog series may hint, it never truly congealed into a good story, let alone multiple stories. For today’s idea graveyard, I’d like to share the meandering process with you all. After all, as John Dewey said, “Failure is instructive. The person who really thinks learns quite as much from his failures as from his successes.”
I have reviewed some things that don’t traditionally receive deep criticism. I’ve done full length reviews of porn and a webcomic, for instance. Today, we add a Pony Music Video (PMV) to that list.
There will be a new one shot dropping on the 25th. If you want to read it on that particular day, well, there ya go! That's the release date. Other things I thought I would mention are that I was able to write a significant amount of words recently, and thought I'd drop some updates about those so y'all can get hyped. Considering one of the polls I did a few blogs ago did mention that short stories and buffer updates are ideal to have, I was able to progress on some shorter pieces for that

IN WHICH I ATE TWO WAFFLES
Just like how Taco Tuesday is a thing, evidently so is "Waffle Wednesday". I am satisfied. It's the little things as the big things in my life continue to deteriorate. I'm stuck in my internet deficient hometown for the foreseeable future. That's the bad news. Good news is that I've finished a chapter each for EQUESTRIA GIRLS and 2020's Mayor Mare story. I'll post them as soon as I have time. Peace out!

A Demonstration Of Tips So Far (And An Offer Of Sorts)
This week I am sick. I have an ear canal inflammation. It hurts, I take a lot of painkillers and I have a pretty high fever, have had this for all of the week. So not much going to happen.
Hope that all who read this has a great friday.
Oh, except go check out Seb11111's new animation which I worked on.
It is Sfw, so I can actually link to it, go check it out
Yesterday I updated Daring Documents for the first time in over a year.
I’m continuing my critiques of the entrants into the Imposing Sovereigns II contest. We continue down my list of “finalists”: stories which I considered awarding points to. I would like to stress, however, that I only ranked them because FanOfMostEverything made me; they are all excellent.
I must also point out, I never read the comic involving Princess Amore.
Title: The Heart Beats Still
I'm sorry this announcement comes so late, but, I am currently on a short writing break. February has been a turbulent month, in both positive and negative ways. Some personal things that happened and needed to be worked out, many exciting analyses for Generation 5 I did (and more analyses will come, currently planning with the next five!), the shock over it that the Generation 5 show was suddenly revealed to be in full CGI rather than 2D animation (by the way, thank you for lying, Hasbro!) and
Welcome back readers! To both of us, actually! I am back at my desk again this Monday, returned from Alaska (which you might have noticed if you saw this post).
Hello there, fellow bronies and pegasisters.
Sooo, yeah. I know it is kind of random writing this update out of nowhere, but I felt like people needed to know, at those who are in the know. However, to recap. Four years ago, (holy Celestia, has it been that long?!) I wrote one of my first fan fictions here on the site. As the title this thread would let you know, this is of course Fallen Knight.
My friends, I come to you with mixed news.
I've been wanting to write original fiction for a while now. Years. Decades, actually. This year, I set out to write an original novel.
It's been sitting pretty at three and a half chapters since February. Yeee...
So, how about that season finale eh?
As a fanfiction writer, there are two vectors through which I gain enjoyment from watching the show. The first is the enjoyment that comes from the show itself and the second is effectively mining the show for ideas on what to write next.
Already my mind is chewing away at possibilities for both Skitchverse and Lunaverse. Which is all well and good. But this is where the whole "Damn you brain!" decides to raise it's ugly head.
