Since I became interested in the show in 2019, I felt like I've missed a lot on what's going on with the fandom and how they deal with such criticism and negativity. Please let me know what some of the stereotypes you've heard. I'm quite curious.
Well, for starters, you shouldn't know, but I feel like an ass today. A stereotypical ass who announces their lifestyle choices, like a vegan would do. Fuck vegans. Not drinking cheese or eating milk is blasphemous.
A popular setting for horror anything is the haunted asylum. See, it was filled with crazy people. Crazy people are all sociopathic professional serial killers, and when they die they all turn into ghosts with have an insatiable drive to kill stupid teenagers. Nevermind that the inmates of asyla generally had even fewer rights and protections than even regular prisoners for a ridiculously long time, and the mentally "normal" staff would visit unspeakable torment on them, or allow others to do
So, being a British person myself I hate being stereotyped through videos and all that stuff. I feel so offended when people assume that we only drink tea and eat crumpets, scones and fish and chips. And some of you people think that we talk posh and have horrible teeth. And if you don't know, we talk differently in different parts of the country. Yes some people decide to talk posh but most of the time it's just slang you pillock!
I have a Scrivener project called Daring Do and the Seven-Starred Jewel. The underlying conceit is that it combines an (attempted) murder with Daring recalling her earliest days as an archaeologist, and what exactly drew out her cutie mark.
*Walks in* "Okay, will someone kindly clue me in on what is going on with you lot today?! Everywhere I go there's one of you idiots laughing their bloody arses off!"

So I've been thinking lately about this fandom and my place in it and I've decided some of my fics need to go.
Specifically, the porn fics. It's not that I'm ashamed or embarrassed that I wrote them, but I've kind of come to a realization that writing porn in a high school setting at my age can come off as kinda creepy, even if the characters portrayed are meant to be 18+.
