It has been a decade since Twilight Sparkle was crowned sole Princess, and Equestria is at peace.

The Crystal Empire, not so much. King Sombra is apparently unkillable, despite all efforts. He returns several times a year to be destroyed, leaving behind his horn and always swearing vengeance. The jaded Crystal Ponies, some literally jade, have grown used to their tyrant attempting to return. Princess Cadance rules with her husband Shining Armor, while their daughter Flurry Heart excels in school. All is well.

All seems well, until Cadance begins to suspect that something is wrong with her daughter after the latest battle with Sombra. Flurry quite literally walks off a blast of concentrated dark magic. What Cadance discovers will shake her family to the core and upend everything she thought she knew about her daughter.

Flurry Heart is evil. If Cadance cannot save her daughter, she must stop her before it's too late.

Twilight and Trixie are going at each other again. Starlight can't take it anymore. Now that she thinks about it, why are they always fighting? What reason could they have?

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 15

G5 may be well underway, but there's still lots of unexplored potential in G4 worth considering. It's here once again, that series which dares to ask and seeks to answer that fateful question "What if that episode had been written differently?"

Twelve episodes are on tap for this volume, celebrating this series' tenth anniversary. Among the featured episodes includes a redo of a rewrite from Season 3, the rewriting of the final untouched episode of Season 8, a two parter, and even some bonus chapters.

It undoubtly goes without saying by now, but it's worth repeating all the same: The episodes rewritten are based on my personal opinion so please respect it. Don't get offended if an episode you liked is on the list here, or an episode you didn't like isn't on this list. I'll gladly respect your opinions if you respect mine.

I obviously mean no disrespect of any sort to Hasbro, the DHX writing and editing staff, or anyone who likes the episodes that appear here. The intent of this fic, like all of its predecessors, is for entertainment purposes only and nothing more.

After settling in Crystal Empire, Thorax began sending letters to Spike.

So you might remember the vaguely Spike x Thorax fanfic I wrote almost a year ago and the second chapter I wrote was already completed when I posted it. It was only because I didn’t know how to finish the story that I stopped writing. However, there wasn’t any need to completely waste the time I spent on the second chapter so here! Have a mostly back and forth series of silly letters that have been sitting in drafts for almost a year now.

You don’t need to read the first story to understand what happens in this one.

This story is a sequel to To Love as His Own

Following the defeat of Queen Chrysalis, the princesses of Equestria seek to build a relationship with newly-crowned King Thorax and forge an alliance between ponies and changelings that has never been seen before.

While the changelings adjust to the broad, sympathetic intricacies of shared love magic, Thorax works to embrace his role as the hive's new patriarch, demonstrating a benevolent rule far different from his predecessor. Through sleeping and resting together in groups, he aims to cultivate harmony and empathy in a once turbulent hive and find a place for himself within it at last.

With the help of Equestrian royalty, a few good friends, and his brooding older brother, Thorax must now champion the idea of peaceful changelings in Equestria and show the world that his kind can change more than just their looks.

It's time for the annual Ponyville Fair, and Storm Streak is excited to finally ride the Leviathan! Unfortunately, excitement turns to despair when he finds he is too young and has to miss out. Even with some encouragement from his father, Stormy wishes to be older so he could get his way. News of a powerful artifact with the ability to change someone's age sends Stormy on a search for it, but using its power will come at a great cost.

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

Sugar Belle is pregnant and is expecting her first foal very soon. Big Macintosh, the soon to be father, is excited and so is everypony else who knows.

However, Sugar Belle can't help but feel a little nervous and bored. So to help take her mind off her problems, Big Mac offers to tell his wife what his parents went through with their first foal (him).

Will Sugar Belle learn anything of value from this story? And how much does Big Mac really know about his family's past?

Lil' Cheese knows that Sugarcube Corner wasn't always run by Pound and Pumpkin Cake. They merely took over from their parents, who are now retired.

Eager for a chance to meet them, Lil' Cheese is delighted when his mom and dad announce that they're going to do just that: Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cake at Silver Shoals.

Lil' Cheese is sure it'll be a glorious first meeting. After all, he's been told that the Cakes were a second family to his mother. So that makes them like family to him as well, right?
