This story is a sequel to An Icy (But Warm) Meeting
After settling in Crystal Empire, Thorax began sending letters to Spike.
So you might remember the vaguely Spike x Thorax fanfic I wrote almost a year ago and the second chapter I wrote was already completed when I posted it. It was only because I didn’t know how to finish the story that I stopped writing. However, there wasn’t any need to completely waste the time I spent on the second chapter so here! Have a mostly back and forth series of silly letters that have been sitting in drafts for almost a year now.
You don’t need to read the first story to understand what happens in this one.

I really liked this fic! It was short and on point, but still witty and comedic. If you ever feel up to it, please do another letter exchange story or maybe even a sequel where Thorax visits Ponyville!

To be honest I kind of wish that he did visit Ponyville during season 6 especially hanging out with Spike and probably get to know the main six well except for the season finale he did went there but that was during the emergency

Hey that's pretty awesome to see your story again and awesome to hear from you as well I hope you're doing good throughout the years so anyway it looks like thorax is writing a letter to spike telling him what is going on at the Crystal Empire and even Spike told him about the past few days in the episodes that he has to go through and I wish we could have thorax visiting Ponyville now as much as I'm not a big fan of the shipping here no offense but I do like how they keep in touch with each other just like Spike and Gabby and I always say thorax Spike and Gabby have in common with each other having creatures of their own don't have a good reputation throughout the generation but anyway this was pretty awesome keep out the good work

(Thorax and Spike shared a mere three sentences for the entire rest of the show) Granted, Spikes entire story being a vague mess with a side of unfortunate implications has been a tradition going back to S1E1, so I'm happy the fans can succeed where the show failed.

omg right! the show mlp did a lot more damage as it went on like applejack being dumb (for one episode) the derpy controversy, scootaloo parents/scoots being an orphan, unnecessary flash sentry hate along with Hasbro descensions on not releasing the last two seasons of my little pony: friendship on DVD & canceling the equestria girls series!😤
don't hate starlight glimmer as a character (although i do throw a little shade at her origin story) in my fic😉
p.s: the story's spike-centric granted it's written way back in 2017 but couldn't be published nor released as some of the chapters were left unfinished/incomplete & i had owned a really terrible 'Dell' laptop
