Four days after the marriage of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, as well as the defeat of Queen Chrysalis, Fluttershy receives a visit by Twilight. Twilight tells her that if she sees any changelings, she needs to tell her immediately, on Celestia's orders. Fluttershy, not wishing to do so, begins thinking about it, and the things she thinks of makes her anxious and uneasy. In doing so, she decides to take a walk into the Everfree Forest to calm her mind and enjoy the view. While admiring the scenery, she trips on something. Looking back, she finds something she feared having to find, for the risk of being shunned by her society-a hurt changeling. Because of the nature of Celestia's instructions, Fluttershy must make a tough decision: Whether to turn this changeling in or to bring it into her home to make it better.

The real question is will Fluttershy fall to the peer pressure of society, or will she do what her heart tells her is right?

Transformation magic is a powerful, dangerous tool, a lesson Princess Celestia has taught time and time again. But when a miscalculation of her own warps her body into a new and terrible form, an avian form her oldest enemies held millennia ago, Celestia learns these dangers from an entirely new perspective. Now she must find a way to reclaim her old body and manage the killer instincts of her new one. Of course, in order to do that, she'll have to climb off her dusty old throne and make some friends with the knowledge to help her, with some prompting from the more-than-friend who sent her the spell to begin with.

Young Nictis had one dream: to serve his hive by becoming an Infiltrator, the most vital and vaunted role a changeling could aspire to. To hide in plain sight among the other species, blending in, while gathering the vital emotional energies that fueled his people. Few were deemed worthy of the dangerous job. He was one of the few nymphs selected for training, in the hopes that one of them would develop the skills needed to be entrusted with such a treacherous task.

But when a training expedition ends in tragedy, Nictis finds himself thrust into the role not to serve his hive and people, but to preserve his own life. Separated from the hive, alone, he must put what little training he has to the test. He must blend in with the hive's greatest source of food, and its most dangerous enemy: the ponies of Equestria.

(This story takes place in the same continuity as Fragments, but stands on its own. Reading that story isn't necessary for this one.)

When Princess Twilight Sparkle decides that a get away is in order for the six friends, they naturally jump on the idea. Encouraged by Princess Celestia, Twilight takes her friends to a distant location at the guidance of her mentor. However, the ponies find themselves on a path that is not the one the Princess had intended them to travel, and end up in a land that is much older and out of reach than any of them could have expected.

A primeval world populated by creatures not seen since ages long buried beneath the rock that makes the very skin of the world, the ponies must learn about this place, and most importantly, find their way back out. Soon they learn that while their modern Equestria has its share of villains, the ancient world sees no such thing as good or evil. Instead, the ancient world only knows 'survive'.

Their travels in this unseen land bring them new friends, and new dangers that they would have never expected to encounter, even in a land as full of mystery and variety as Equestria. This is the telling of the Six, and their travels through The Oldest Land.

Scootaloo has always looked up to Rainbow Dash as a mentor or an older sister. So, when Rainbow Dash promises to give Scootaloo flying lessons one afternoon, it makes the little filly's entire day.

The sad thing about promises, though: just like bodies in gravity, they can shatter.

Some accidents are small, and some endow you with the power of a godly ruler. On the opposite end of things, you lose your wings along with your ability to move celestial bodies, and you can't tell anypony. Why, because what would they think if the princess became a librarian? It's going to be "fine". Celestia just needs to switch back with Twilight before either of their true identities are revealed. All Twilight has to do is hold down the castle, fight off scheming villains, run the country, and worst of all... deal with all the noble ponies.
