Not exactly tragic but enjoyable none the less. Personally, I was expecting Applebloom to cause some serous harm if not outright kill Scootaloo by accident in a fit of anger. Still, I can easily see this as an episode of My Little Pony labeled the darkest of the episodes with a bittersweet ending. The moral lesson that there are situations that are just so tense and horrible that you would take it out and attack your closest friends physically and verbally while they are doing the same to you is an important if dark one.
Only after we have seen our friends at their worst do we truly know who are friends are.
