When do you say goodbye to a friend? Is it when they leave or when you have forgotten them? If you hold your friends close to your heart, you will never say goodbye.

Summer vacation has arrived and Sunset Shimmer finds herself alone. Her only friends are busy with their own summer plans leaving Sunset to figure out what one does when they are alone. A chance encounter with a strange, blank book changes that. Now she will help a friend rediscover that a friend kept in your heart is never really gone. And perhaps she will learn a bit about friendship herself along the way from her new friend of no brain.

Pinkie Pie is tucking the Cake twins in bed, but they are too rowdy to sleep. So Pinkie decides to read them a few stories to calm them down. Using famous fairy tales for reference, Pinkie decides to put her own twist into the stories. That can only mean one thing:

Applejack notices Sunset Shimmer is rather lonely during the year-end break, so she decides to bring her to Sweet Apple Acres.

Where there are horses. And ponies. Pinkie Pie ensues.

Now you leave what few friends you have to go to a new place that might be just as bad, or worse, than Hoofington. Will Canterlot be just like it? Will you fit in or be the same old odd nerd out that sat alone at lunch and got bullied almost daily?

This story is a sequel to The Siren Song: Dazzle Dazzle, Little Stars

Sunset has spent six years caring for The Dazzlings now. Things seemed pretty nice during that time, when they were just carefree, innocent, happy-go-lucky sirens with complete amnesia of their acts in the past.

However, The Blasters are drawing closer and closer to their inevitable victory. Led by Fortissimo Blast, they seek to utilize their little sisters, The Dazzlings as part of some kind of ritual for something big and could not only pose a threat to Equestria, but to the Human World as well.

Meanwhile, as the danger of The Blasters grows, an even bigger threat approaches The Dazzlings...

While the task does seem like quite an easy one for any normal girl like the three of them, they don't realize that they're being hunted by monsters of their past...

A wicked and twisted mare, who was a friend of all ponies of Ponyville, overthrows Princess Celestia and Luna with raw power and brute force. Using dark and evil magics, she drained the magic from the Princesses to keep them powerless and imprisoned them deep within the palace, which she took the liberty of redecorating. Under this mare's reign, Equestria is dangerous, and ponies must work to retrieve resources for her research, or become imprisoned until they die of starvation or dehydration (Their bodies being used for research).

Across Equestria, rebel groups hide from the new ruler; however, a particular group of five, known as The Elements, who are admired by all other rebels for their bravery and skill, push further and harder, preparing for the day to return Equestria to its glorious, harmonious state. But as they proceed further, chances of success become slim, as the ruler cracks down on the rebel groups and begins heavily funding new ways to track them down and eliminate them. Will The Elements be able to save Equestria in time, before they're found and killed?

After a series of nightmares an urgent letter summons Twilight to Canterlot but the reason is far from what she expected. As she is introduced to a secret that has been kept hidden for centuries how will the new princess respond and will her dreams allow her the choice to begin with?

Edit: 20/04/15 This story is currently on hiatus until I can get my head around it again. The original plotline has become a bit derailed and I need time to think things out. Stay tuned!

A year after the Battle of the Bands, high school graduation is nearing and the girls are ready to face the world, though Sunset Shimmer worries that they might drift apart. But when Twilight's human self arrives and ends up getting infected with dark magic, they must call upon Princess Twilight once more to engage in a battle that will decide the fate of their worlds.

After nearly escaping Zaheer and defeating Tirek, Korra and Twilight will never be the same again.

Thinking a change of scenery is needed, Korra decides to move in with Twilight at her new palace, but their relaxation is cut short when they receive a message from Sunset Shimmer in Canterlot High, informing them that three new students have suddenly arrived and plan on taking over not just the school, but the world.

The Princesses travel through the magic mirror and Korra meets the human counterparts of her bonded ponies for the first time, as well as mentally scarred Sunset Shimmer, who is still struggling with letting go of her past and is plagued by nightmares and visions of her monstrous self. The girls band, The Rainbooms compete in the school's Battle of the Bands in order to defeat the three girls, The Dazzlings, before they turn the whole school against each other.

But, will Twilight be able to get her mojo back in order to make the counter spell they will need to defeat their foes? Will Sunset Shimmer relinquish her past in order to move on and help her friends?

Sometimes, the best way to solve your own problems...is by helping someone else with theirs.
