One day behind Tuesday, Pinkie Pie found somepony new in town. Not exactly an unusual occasion in of itself, however, this time proved to be a little different.

For one the pony turned out to be just a foal, around the age of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. For two, the foal was sleeping inside a cardboard box and had a fever!

Naturally, Pinkie brought the foal to the hospital and already planned the "Get well soon party".

Equestria is still picking up the pieces after the defeat of Tirek, and everypony is helping out with the paperwork, even Rainbow Dash. Things change when Princess Celestia arrives, bringing with her a letter with some very stunning accusations of the exploits of a resident in the town of Oasis. Now, the main six are tasked with finding out if the letter was truth or fiction. Did this Mister Baker really do what they claim? Only one way to find out.

However, Mister Baker is not who, or what they expected.

Rated Teen for occasional language. Additional tags added for more dark themes.

When Andrew wakes up in Equestria, he makes a rather large impact. Well, as large an a impact as a normal 20 something guy falling from about 20000 feet can make. Celestia goes through royal duties and answering all her loyal subjects request whether good or pointless every day. Princess Luna goes through the same royal duties in the evening but with subjects with lesser class in requests. All they both desires is to enjoy a evening snack with each other Celestia enjoying a freshly baked cake while Luna herself enjoys her midnight Brownies before her night's work and just enjoy the time to eat their favorite treats with each other's presence. It was any other day filled with duties and once again in the main dinning hall and the usual chef presenting the princesses desserts for the evening.... but one thing was missing.

or knowing that Rainbow Dash can rest on soft, fluffy, comfortable pillows while they can't,
or seeing bright, flashing lights that blind and burn their eyes when Twilight perform spells,
or knowing that Rarity can carry things and teleport without lifting a hoof while THEY need to lift THEIR hooves to do that.
Nope, they don't mind knowing that they can't do those things. Not one bit.

But when Discord get's rid of their friend's wings and horns before they head into a maze, and he doesn't take ANYTHING away from them, and their friends freak out, knowing they can't do those things now.
The two earth ponies start realizing some things.
Some very, VERY, VERY interesting things.

One day, Applejack happens upon a strange old journal that appears to be written by a master criminal - Black Jack the Outlaw, a mysterious stallion with powers beyond that of any normal earth pony, who terrorized Equestria with his gang of miscreants in days long past. What secrets are hidden in the pages of his old journal?

This, as well as magical mishap at Twilight's place, would trigger a series of events leading to an adventure unlike any the six pony friends have ever encountered before.

Equestria is the homeland of ponies, surely one of the most powerful kinds that have ever existed. Ponies have control over the weather, magic, the sun, the moon and so much more. They have developed an unspoken pride for their kind that gave them overweening self-esteem. It brought them to completely ignore the other kinds of the world for centuries.
As the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle wants to renew with the other kingdoms of the known world. Thus she embarks herself into diplomatic visits. Accompanied by Applejack and a young airship captain, she is planning to visit numerous locations such as Griffonstone, the bat ponies’ caverns, Yakyakistan, the Minos Empire and much more in order to meet the chiefs.
But she wasn’t expecting to fall in love with her friend Applejack. Between diplomatic visits and her own feeling, she has to be a diplomat. A heart diplomat.
