After being revived by his dark magic, Sombra finds himself in Ponyville, under the care of Pinkie Pie, his assigned reformer. However, with a strange voice in the back of his head and Pinkie's odd allure, Sombra finds himself feeling something that hasn't been felt over a thousand years...

Will he be able to overcome the trials that come with being Pinkie's "friend"? And how will he prepare for what's to come?

When Rarity is overwhelmed with making designs for an agriculture exhibition, she turns to Applejack for advice. But when she gives Applejack a hair style treatment in return, the apple farmer lets her accent slip from southern drawl to sophisticated Manehattenite. The result? More fancy parties than you can shake a candy apple at!

While Pinkie is walking around Ponyville with Sombra, who she is tasked to watch over until he is reformed, she sees a pony has recently moved into Ponyville without her previous knowledge. So, Pinkie does the only thing she sees fit- she greets the pony with a crazy amount of confetti and cake batter. In doing so, she ruins his clothes and has to take him shopping at Carousel Boutique.

That is exactly what Twilight and Cadence thought when they decided to take a trip to the Hoofwian Islands just the two of them. The vacation is suppose to be about having fun, but deep down one of them wants a bit more than that. Their only concern, though, is how the other will react to this.
