The Nexus is a powerful multi-dimensional machine that rips heroes and villains from their homeworlds and sets them against each other on battlefields in far off destinations (for reasons that no one can explain)! Under normal circumstances, it just takes characters from the worlds of Blizzard Entertainment (Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo). But in celebration of the new season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and the announced release date of Heroes of the Storm (tm), the Nexus has sent some of Blizzard's greatest champions to battle the holders of the Elements of Harmony in Equestria!

Now, with Princess Twilight trapped inside their team's Core, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity must take their team of 5 to the lanes to battle in DotA-style to save their friend, and their base, in Ponies of the Storm!!!!

(I recommend changing your chapter reading format to have a dark background to read this. You'll see why.)

Time to get real for a second. I'm not going to finish this story. There are two main reasons.
1. Activision's influence over Blizzard has soiled a once beloved company. Their premature halting of development on Heroes of the Storm showed their love, not for creation and entertainment, but for profit. The same with the mishandling and understaffing of Warcraft 3 Reforged. A company exists to make profit, I understand that. However, after things like the Diablo Immortal incident and the Blitzchung fiasco, I can see they no longer aim to please fans and make money at the same time.
2. More importantly, after the recent allegations that have come to light (July 2021) about the behind-the-scenes activities at Blizzard themselves, I can no longer support them as a company. It hurts. I love their characters and their games, but... unless they clean house and really fix their internal issues, I cannot give them another penny. I will not give them any additional positive attention by continuing this story. Can you "separate art from the artist?" Do you stop watching movies or shows if a lead actor has been shown to have done something despicable? Can you be sure every name listed in the credits is always a well-behaved human? What percentage of the people involved in a piece of media can do something wrong before the whole thing is tainted? I think many people have had to deal with these questions in recent years. Whether you do or not is for each individual to decide. As for me, in this case, the artist has ruined the art for me.

Worgen? Try Ponies as the new Alliance race instead! Deathwing's Cataclysm breaks open the seals separating Equestria from the rest of Azeroth, allowing in the insanity that is World of Warcraft and WoW players.

Twilight's life takes a turn for the worse when she meets a crazed, sword wielding pony on the outskirts of Ponyville. Now she must learn to cope and cooperate with the voice of a long dead general and traitor in her head. But, Twilight's sanity isn't the only thing up for grabs.

An army of death has been building in the north and as it advances towards Equestria, it grows with every corpse. The ancient Aspects of nature have once again been revealed to the world and once again, war is beginning.

Equestria will have to rely on there princess of magic to protect them, but how can they when Twilight can't even rely on herself anymore?

It's time for another Adventure fic, and I promise that this one will have at least 50% more adventure than my last one. It will also be much darker than my last one (Still not anywhere near grim-dark though).

Crossover with the Warcraft Universe. Though to be fair, I am mostly borrow names and vague concepts from them, most of this is original content (do not steal...(joking, I really don't care what you do with it)).

P.S. the reason there is an other character tag instead of an OC character tag is because all of the characters not from FIM are re-imaginings of Warcraft characters and thus not original.

The Mane Six disappear from Equestria without a trace in the process of successfully saving Ponyville from a magical storm. They are presumed deceased after some time passes, and the Elements return to the Tree of Harmony.

They wake up, not as the ponies they were, in another world.

A world known as Azeroth.

Faced with a new set of challenges, can they hold onto the values they embody and the code they lived by, or will they be forced to adapt to the ways of this strange new world? A world of bloodshed and hate, of light and dark, of alien races, of undead and demons. A World of Warcraft.

On recent events:

I've found the recent reports of harassment and workplace issues at Activision-Blizzard to be extremely troubling. They also come at a time when I've been playing much less of the game as it is, as a result of disengagement and disillusionment with various aspects of WoW's current gameplay and storytelling.

For these reasons, in addition to my own failure to upload regularly, I've contemplated putting Azeroth's Skies on hiatus again... or just cancelling it entirely. 

However... while I may not be playing WoW at the moment, and may never do so again, I feel like fan work is something we could do with more of right now. I also don't feel like I'm finished in this world just yet. So for now, I'm going to do my best to continue the story.

I hope this makes sense, but I understand if anyone else feels differently as a result of what has happened. Thank you all for your support for this story so far.

Scootaloo's life has always been shrouded in mystery. She lives in her house in Ponyville alone. She often disappears with no explanation. And no one's ever seen her parents.
She keeps it that way deliberately. She likes her normal life in Ponyville, and has held on to it as much as she can.
However, a personal tragedy brings family responsibility down on her shoulders, and her life is about to spiral out of control.
Thankfully, she has quite a bit of help keeping both her lives stable - and separate - as much as possible...
...a dragon chef who can't make a salad without making it flambe...
...a cripplingly far-sighted ex-assassin hippogryph maid...
...a slim built minotaur gardener who is as innocent as he is unexpectedly strong...
...a mechanical golem head servant whose brain runs - badly - on hot tea...

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Mentor Assassin of Masyaf, having sealed himself away in his library, The Apple hidden, waited in his library for death. The Apple seemed to disagree with this. After a bright light emanating from where The Apple resides blinded Altaïr, he awakens in a grassy meadow, with all of his equipment, his robe... and four legs.

Arc 1:Altaïr's Arrival - Altaïr is sent to Equestria in a flash of bright light. There, he learns of impending war between the changelings and ponies. In order to assist them, Altaïr establishes a new Brotherhood.
Arc 2: The Resistance, The Rebellion - With Altaïr captured and the Brotherhood destroyed at the hands of the undercover changeling, Deception, it's up to Ezio and Rainbow Dash to defeat the changelings. Meanwhile, unrest grows in the changeling hive.
Arc 3: Lost to Time

When the forces of nature come crashing down on a cold night, Scootaloo takes refuge in the only place she can call home: The Cutie Mark Crusaders Clubhouse.

Frightened and alone, only the arrival of a young mare with a mane and tail of rainbows can settle the filly. Scootaloo will soon discover that sometimes the pony who means the most to you as an aspiration, can also be the pony whom you take refuge with at the end of the day.

Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

Apparently, science isn't exactly perfect. Even when it's done by the likes of Winston and his genetically enhanced brain. It's just my rotten luck that when it does screw up, it leaves me separated from Earth entirely and completely unable to fulfill my duties as an Overwatch member. But where I end up really did need more heroes.

First I end up having to deal with a war between humans and robots, then I get involved in alien crises just as crazy. Hmph, good for them the cavalry dropped in!
