Rainbow Dash always had a thing for First Officer Soarin of the Wonderbolts, even without realizing he could be such a sweet pony once she got to know him a little better. However, her affections are already tied up with the newly adopted Scootaloo, who needs guidance and care when a new disorder rears its ugly head. There's not much room in her heart for a stallion, is there?

Unfortunately, her life will get even more complicated as the Mane Six join the Wonderbolts to face a mysterious darkness in the distant land of Saddle Arabia. She must remain strong, because her entire world is about to come crashing around her ears. Is there a light at the end of this tunnel, or will everything she endured simply bring more pain down the road?

(Rated teen for the occasional instances of strong language, suggestive scenes, and scattered ponies drinkin' themselves stupid!

After a strange dream, Scootaloo tries to find out who her parents are as well as a few other questions. After several startling revelations, she starts to learn the events that have led to her being. How will she deal with it? Better read and find out!

After Scootaloo finds out she likes fillies instead of colts she thinks she is a freak. Everyone is out to prove her otherwise though...

Today is today, yesterday was yesterday, and tomorrow is tomorrow. Maybe this little filly can learn to deal with her past. Its been sad and dark, lonely and long. All this filly's known is death. And maybe that just won't change. Everything Scootaloo cares about is lost. Its always been that way. Only one thing remains. But now, maybe that's gone too.

They'd finally found out... Scoots had always hoped this day would never come, but somehow knew that it had to. She hadn't made any plans though, because she wasn't able to imagine the crusaders' reaction in the past. But now she had to come up with something, and she had to be fast.

This is my first story, so please be gentle, but still critical. I'm always looking forward to hear wether you liked it or if you know what I could make better. However, I will try to upload a chapter weekly, but I still ask you to forgive me if I can't catch the deadline. I'm sorry for any grammatical and/or spelling mistakes, I'm no native, but I tried my best. I hope you enjoy this story, and wish to thank you for reading it.

When the CMC come up with an idea of how to get their cutie mark, all of them go to their sisters. Scootaloo goes to the closet thing she has to a sister, Rainbowdash, and they start to form a very close bond.

One could say that Ponyville is a sanctuary. Another could say that Ponyville is a place for discovering one’s hopes and dreams. Scootaloo was a young Pegasus, beautiful and unique in her own ways. She had no Mother or Father to help her along. Her friends were always there for her, but her depression often outweighed their efforts. Her nights were spent alone with no pony to comfort her. Happiness was only found when she thought of her one dream coming true, to fly as high as the sky would let her. She wanted nothing more than to be like her hero, Rainbow Dash. It was a dream that could not be made a reality however.

Inspired by Rarity and Applejack's letters, Rainbow Dash writes her biggest fan a letter of her own that will shed light not only on Scootaloo's origins, but Rainbow Dash's as well.

Scootaloo has a great life. Her mother and father love her, and she adores them in return. She does well in school, even if some of the kids are jerks. Sure, she doesn't really have any friends, but she doesn't mind too much. She has almost everything she could wish for. And with her eighth birthday coming soon, who knows, maybe things will only get better from here. After all, everypony knows if you make a wish on your birthday then it comes true, right?
