Vinyl Scratch has a secret, one that she's kept hidden away from all the rest of the other ponies, it's one that she can't speak about or say, even if she wanted to. And that's because she is really mute.

So follow along in just another regular ordinary day for her.

After being apart for five years, Vinyl finds out that Octavia got married. Knowing there is no way she can have back what they once had, Vinyl feels alone. She won't let anybody in. She won't let anybody help. She just wants to forget her biggest mistake: letting Octavia go.

This takes place after the events of Autograph by RushingAutumnLeaves. I suggest you read that story first.

Octavia Melody hid this for years. She is a demon-succubus born in Tartarus and sent to Equestria after her father saw that she was not bad enough, and sending her to Equestria, her father thought she would be a real demon and practice her succubus skills. He was wrong. After many years she maintains a normal life, hiding her identity from everyone, including Vinyl Scratch, her girlfriend. It’s been a month since Vinyl Scratch proposed to Octavia, and things have gone well. Even meeting the parents, a few days back, didn’t explode in their faces, so things are looking great.
Of course, this is when everything goes terribly wrong one night at dinner with Tavi’s parents.
Perhaps wrong isn’t the most fitting word. Awkward would probably fit better.

Stoic. Calm. Unflappable. And above all, Professional. These are attributes that the pianist Frederic Horseshoepin likes to pride himself on.

But sometimes it's difficult to stay professional. Frederic finds it difficult to maintain a veneer of stoicism when he has to deal with his own feelings. What can he do when he's in love with a mare that he cannot hope to have?
