Stride has a terrible condition. He has only one more year to live. His parents brought him to Ponyville, where he could live the rest of his days in the calm and quiet.
Too late for a CMC meeting, Scootaloo hurries through the streets with her scooter. She bumps into Stride and shortly afterwards, she notices his blank flank. Stride has the opportunity to become a crusader and make new friends, but how will he tell them he's only got one more year to go?

Rumors of her gross deformity and the history of her fall from grace haunt her every waking moment. Plagued by events she cannot alter, Noir's mind has slipped into a world where fact and fiction blur. Solace is sought in drink and debauchery, and her magic has decayed to the most basic of skills. Protected by her diamond dog companion, it is only a matter of time before she tells one lie too many and finds herself utterly alone.

Princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle is running out of lessons to learn, or so she thinks. When a sudden request from an old schoolteacher challenges her to understand a young pony unlike any she has seen before, troubling questions swiftly arise.

Life has been mostly the same for the girls ever since they had to give up their Elements to the Tree of Harmony. Of course, this couldn't possibly last too long, and strange things begin to happen to our intrepid heroes.

Let it never be said that you can't have too much of a good thing.

Rainbow Dash really regrets destroying the Weather Factory. Like, a lot. It's been about a week since it happened, but she's still doing all she can to repair her reputation and have everypony stop hunting her down.

She's been given an out though, and it's pretty easy. All she has to do is fly from one end of Equestria to another, then fly back. If she wins, she's free from all moral and financial debt. If she loses, she'll have to clean up all of winter by herself for the next three years. No big deal for the fastest flyer in Equestria. Except it's a race, which also isn't that big of a deal. It's not the large amount flying that'll bother her, nor will the fact she has competition.

What bothers her is who she's racing.

The day seemed so ordinary. The rooster crowed, Apple Bloom got up, and she had her breakfast. Today would be the day she and her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders earned their cutie marks. This wouldn't come to pass. Instead, today would be the day she learned about a long kept secret even her big sister didn't know about.

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.

{Displaced Story}

His name was Eli Minute, a normal teenager who dressed as a Dalek for a group costume contest at Comic-Con with his friends. He just wanted the contest to finish up so he could get out of the stuffy Dalek costume. But when his friend Matt brought over the rewards, he also brought over a Dalek laser that he bough from a man known only as "The Merchant".

Jeremy, one of his other friends, goes ahead and attaches the laser to Eli's costume, and in a flash of light Eli is taken to Equestria with a splitting headache and no sensation in his feet...or his hands...or anything for that matter.

What will befall him as he's trapped in the mechanical body of the most dangerous being in the universe?
