Set in and after the story of Disney’s Frozen, this story follows Elsa as she takes in and cares for the filly known as Snowdrop after she mysteriously wandered into her world. In the process, the two form a powerful bond that will be put to the test time and time again. But if Elsa has learned anything from her sister's bravery on the frozen fjord, love can overcome anything.

4613897 To build Olaf took two twigs and a few pebbles which can be found in any snowdrift if one digs deeply enough. Also, since she has control over absurdly strong ice winds (her flurries) she can actually move them. Moreover, notice she couldn't summon Olaf's Carrot nose.
So to summon a whole pack of LOGS without even a gust of wind, but just have them appear (what type of wind would it take to move a log anyway)? yeahhhh I thought her powers were over ice not organic matter? Its explained for Olaf's creation since the pebbles and twigs are small enough... but the logs... the mechanics of her powers do not match. I could go on and on, but that's not the issue here. As every writer can make certain 'conveniences to move the plot forward'.
However, I am disappointed in how you covered up a missed opportunity. You could have used Snowdrop being cold to put Elsa in a desperate situation where she has to find wood for Snowdrop and hence is faced with the super-harsh consequences of her own exile and how impractical it is. You could have even forgone the logs totally and had a heartwarming cuddling scene where Elsa realizes she's not just an ice queen, but also flesh and blood human. Basically I'm only mildly annoyed at the convenience. My real problem is the missed opportunity you had.

I think what he means is that since Elsa could create living beings (when she is only supposed to have powers over snow and ice... well, at least, that's what the movie implies up to that point), maybe logs isn't too much of a stretch.
