And while the unicorn is on her mission, Opaline decides to take care of some "important" matters around the lair. What kind of matters? Well, one's that require her full attention and must not be interrupted by anypony.

Young love is the purest form of love there is. The idealist concept of a relationship and love drives many young lovers and star struck ponies like Scootaloo into putting in exorbitant amount of effort to please, impress, and court their pony of interest into loving them back. So far it hasn't worked out so well, but Scootaloo is a determined young filly willing to put as much effort as possible into her dream.

Celestia sends Twilight a very special book that contains some of the oldest and most powerful magics known to ponykind. Included in the book is the way by which alicorns are created. Twilight visits her teacher in Canterlot to learn more, but gets much, much more than she bargained for.

I wasn't really sure what to tag this story. I chose the adventure tag because I see this story as an intellectual adventure for Twilight. Let me know if you think it should be something else and I'll change it.
