Rarity has a creative design in mind. What lengths will she go to to get the tools she needs?

Thanks to Lofty Withers and Sixes And Sevens for prereading and editorial suggestions!

I SAID that a custom apple made studio, from their own trees and completely from scratch, was basically an engagement present. I said it, and they agreed laughed at me...

Damn it you two, just admit it already you goofs!

Considering the content.

After finishing the first chapter, I saw the author's note about the feghoot and wondered what it had to do with anything. Did the bridal style promise count?

Then I read the second chapter, and it all made sense.

What's more annoying is that it sounds like something Applejack would actually say.

Okay, you got me. Good luck in the contest, though I'm not sure you need it!

I really question the need for two belts...other than the end line anyway.

Wonder if AJ spent all week on that.

That was positively Callahansian. I approve wholeheartedly.

:rainbowlaugh: Magnificent. And I'm sure that the fact that Applejack brought those vows to mind has absolutely no deeper meaning whatsoever.

Best of luck in the contest.

Sunset Shimmer raised an eyebrow, grinning. "Whoever's annoyed you, Rarity, I'm sure there's another solution."

I hear that often and I can assure you they there isn't.

"I, Rarity, take your Apple Axe to be my knife. For lavender holes in this stained firmwood. For letters, for words, for pictures for drawers, in chicness and in belts... to carve and embellish teal feathers loop art."

This is both cheesy and hilarious.

Thank you! Yes, when this idea for an elaborate feghoot occurred to me, I knew it had to be either said by Sunset to Twilight or vice versa, or Rarity to Applejack or vice versa :raritywink: When the woodcarving puns started forming it was clear which of those pairings it had to be, and the rest, as they say, is history. Or a rather odd alternate history, as the case may be.

Okay, now that is a feghoot.

Okay, that first one wasn't so bad, how's the second-

OH MY GOD.

Oh wow. This is funny, impressive, and somehow also a full fic! Great work!

Okay, now this one feels like a winner.

"Applejack, darling? Do you have a knife I could borrow?"

Sunset Shimmer raised an eyebrow, grinning. "Whoever's annoyed you, Rarity, I'm sure there's another solution."

Lol (wait, how do I merge two quotes?
