The concept of 255's came about from a discussion in the TCB IRC. The goal? To write a complete story between 255 and 500 words long. Not all of these will be TCB related, but they will all use Cloudyverse characters, in situations ranging from the everyday to the bizarre. So come on in, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the ride.

Nathan Sheffield never considered himself to be that fortunate at anything but when he finds the perfect gift for his girlfriend's birthday, he starts to think his luck has changed. There's not a lot that can be more disruptive to your life then suddenly being shoved into the body of a tiny colorful equine. Finally about to make something of yourself and Wham, along came pony. From advanced underground labs to lost magical artifacts, walk a mile in his hooves as Zēnith copes with what's been taken, learns to use what's been given, and tries to unravel the circumstances of his abrupt metamorphosis.

Second person perspective for psych reasons, which means if you get confused, no you didn't skip anything, but remember you're reading from the point of view of the character, so everything is subject to his perceptions of reality.

The creator having a metaphysical nightmare, the race to save technology, the last TV specials anyone will see. These are just a few of the tales that will lead humanity on the path to a strange new world.

Spin-off of Reality Break

It has been three years since Equestria emerged into the Pacific Ocean. While the random hotspots of thaumatic radiation have subsided, one all-important question has remained unanswered: Why is magic only harmful to humans and higher primates? Dr. Amy Getton, Fluttershy, and a squad of Royal Guard veterans venture into the African jungle in an attempt to both answer this question and begin to work on ponifying the higher primates. But a dark threat lurks in the shadows, with its own nightmarish agenda.

A tragic accident robs Jay and many of his friends of their parents. Seeing no alternative aside from a life on the streets and poverty, they enroll in the Conversion Bureau program to emmigrate to Equestria. When Jay finds out that his close childhood friend and crush, Chloe, is going as well, he takes it upon himself to win her affection before the end of their ten day stay.

Pinkie Pie gets her friends to explain various aspects of Ponydom to the audience (aka a wall of Sugar Cube Corner's kitchen). A silly story poking fun at some of the fan-produced elements of MLP.
