There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

It's been three months since Vinyl was forced to move out of Octavia's house.
The cellist couldn't handle the constant arguments that were filling their daily lives together.
Octavia's friends and family support her decision to get away from the DJ by offering all the help she needs.... even a bit too much....

Octavia still gets angry whenever Vinyl Scratch, or anything related to her (like her wub-powered dishwasher) is ever mentioned in a conversation. She wants her friends and family to stop pestering her about it for that part of her life is done.....

Wubsy the changeling has been living with Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Melody for quite some time now, but never wondered how the couple met until now. The story behind their first meeting is not quite what she expected.

(Inspired by but unrelated to Shukumei's excellent Fun With Changelings)

Octavia is a polite mare on her way up to fame as a cellist. She was brought up in a strict manner in order to be the perfect member of a perfect family. It was an annoyance at times, and she felt trapped. Of course, Octavia rebelled against it; her family knew what was best and what kind of pony wouldn't want to be perfect?

One day, she meets a homeless mare named Vinyl Scratch and immediately takes her in and asks her to be her servant. Vinyl opens Octavia's eyes, telling her that she's capable of making her own decisions, and that her family simply needed to accept her.

Vinyl Scratch was first and foremost a party pony. Yes, her music was her passion but party was her life. After a eventful night, a drunk Vinyl calls a friend for help. Vinyl wakes up in a strange bed filled with a familiar scent. Her mind racing as she connected the dots leads her to entertain erotic thoughts. However, the truth is far from what it seems. Octavia's love for Vinyl isn't something she can put into words and she doesn't really understand the concept but her ramblings inspire Vinyl to speak her mind, even if the mare in question is asleep.

After Octavia and Vinyl Scratch spend the night together, is there more to it than just one night? Is Vinyl right in just leaving Octavia by herself? And why is Vinyl so bad at navigation, dammit?

Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

Octavia had it all. Well, almost all; she had some money, some fans, some friends, her dream career, but it all lacked something, or someone to be exact. After one of her many concerts she finds herself waiting in line for, what's that? Another concert! Though she might not be the one playing in this one, this is one of the few places where she can relax.

And that is where it all began, on that one night, she found it. But it has a few secrets.
