Applejack was a simple pony, content with a hard day's work and good friends. However, fate decides she's in for a little more than that when an alien crashes into the farm and gives her a strange ring. Now, Applejack is thrust into a war she never expected, part of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lanterns. The enemy? A merciless group of warriors called the Yellow Lanterns, whose brutality is unmatched by any in the universe. Faced with a savagery that she has never encountered before, Applejack must step up and become the iron willed warrior the Green Lanterns, and the universe, need her to be.

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
no evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power: Green Lantern's light!"

Seath the Scaleless, White Dragon God of Verdite, Traitor to the Everlasting Dragons, Duke of Anor Londo, Grandfather of Sorcery, and now the new friend and mentor to Twilight Sparkle? What will happen when two like-minded souls from opposite ends of the morality spectrum match wits? And what will remain in their wake?

A somewhat more meta twist on a MLP/Dark Souls cross-over, inspired predominantly by a few pictures I found of Seath and Twilight together, and my bewildered discovery that for all of the stories on this site that cover these two franchises, there's only one that focuses on Seath the Scaleless and so far it hasn't seen any updates in over a year ( http://www.fimfiction.net/story/68621/scales for those curious).

For those who haven't played either the King's Field or Dark Souls games worry not. I'll do my best to either explain the lore of both in the story itself, or add an author's notes for anything that gets referenced.

Rainbow Dash was the Iron Wing. She was a war hero, the Slayer of Shadows, the Liberator of the Crystal Empire, the Wrath of Celestia. And depending on who you ask, she still is.

But the war is over. There's little need for a pony like her in peacetime. So she keeps telling herself that she needs to adjust, that she needs to find a new role to fill in the world that she saved. But Equestria seems content to let her remain what she has become, even though they have no need of a warrior.

"This isn't how it's supposed to be", is something she keeps telling herself. But every time she says it, the only thing she can reply is, "so what should it be?"

One whole year after the close of the war, and Rainbow Dash still doesn't have the answer.

With the outcome of the war with The Guardians of the Universe's Third Army in doubt, the Entities of the Emotional Spectrum decide that they wish to continue to live and seed a part of their being in another universe. But the universe demands a balance in kind and the coming of the light again draws in the void and gives the Unlight another chance to end all as the Blackest Night returns again but this time it descends across Equestria!

The planet of Chikyu is pretty odd, from an outsider perspective. There are anthromorphic sapients of every stripe and sort, the world president is a dog, its greatest warriors are alien monkeys, the average IQ (outside genius scientists or children) is somewhere below 50, and magic orbs raise the dead. How much difference would adding a pony that barely talks really make?
...quite a lot, apparently. Just ask Mr. Popo...if you dare.

Derring-Do is an aspiring archaeologist studying the long fabled and mythical Lost Kingdom of Thule, a highly advanced civilization that mysteriously disappeared thousands of years ago beneath the depths of the ocean. The key to finding this lost civilization is the lost journal of Clover the Clever, said to have intricate instructions on how to get to Thule. Unfortunately for Derring, she has no evidence for either even existing.

That is, until a mysterious benefactor offers to fund an expedition and take her on her first, and possibly last adventure.

Basically, Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire with ponies.

Applebloom just wanted to spend a day with her friends, crusading for her cutie mark. Instead, she found something even deeper and more troubling about herself. Turns out she's not even a member of the Apple Family by blood. In fact, she's not even truly native to Equestria! She's an alien! An alien robot no less!

Now Applebloom will have to deal with the reality of her origins and try to cope with them and her newfound abilities as she moves towards her future; a future that just might never come to be if her new foes have anything to say about it. Decepticons are, after all, a monstrous cabal.

Now, it's up to Applebloom to light Equestria's darkest hour.

A reboot of Waking Nightmares, taking the story in a different direction.

Celestia has been suffering from nightmares and her sister Luna cannot seem to stop them. Alongside this, the dreaded Queen Chrysalis has been caught and is finally standing trial, several world leaders attending to help decide her fate. On top of all this, nine ponies and a dragon have appeared, claiming to have been transformed and sent to Equestria by an insane wizard.

What else can go wrong?
