Update.

First off I am recovered, mostly. I’ve been hanging out here and there, even finished art. There are ups and downs here…but you have to expect such things I suppose.

I am doing well. There is no indication of any kind of paralysis or impacted motor control. My mind still ‘sharp’. So, I have no real problems cognitively. I do have headaches more often though. The use of drugs is nonexistent as at the moment.

I've written this chapter 5 times...and thrown it away, the only part that as survived is the Caribou part...which really is not long at all.

P.S. 1513 Km in a car non stop...not fun. I respect the Gemini astronauts a lot more now.

I wonder if I should keep doing 'long' chapters, or break things up more. While the work would come faster....I think longer chapters are more cohesive. Dunno...I guess it's a matter of tastes. Writing has been VERY hard up until this week because holding my arm to type has been...lets just say...NOT fun! ANYWAY...look for more of the gorging, hoarding Orange Bloom...and yes Caribou reappear.

Ok the drugs, a few other steps (including a spinal tap-YEOW) I can walk without a cane! I can march and carry stuff! Still nothing heavy for a while...but man being without pain rocks (apparently I was a dumb @$$ about the pain...I downplayed it. I shouldn't have).

now as to writing and art..

I finally got the new M4500 up and running...all it's done is play Portal and Elder Scrolls. Those are a test of it's abilities...we'll see if she can render.

So.... 10+days ago I was breaking bolts loose on an old Jaguar, and was leaning on a breaking/cheater bar very hard when the bolt suddenly let go and I took a tumble...a real bad tumble. Since then I've been living on painkillers...and doing some therapy. I severely hurt the L4/L5 area and some of the disks in my back. Sleep has been VERY hard to get and just driving to work has been agony.
TL:DR I may have to go under the knife ;O_O;

Yes it is one I've done before...but it's been changed...and I need an assessment...too 'over the top'?

Also...do you like the idea of 'good' changelings and bad changelings?

Is it a good idea to weave stuff from the past in to make it cohesive?

I've had writers block for 8 days.....

I write like 300-700 words and then...THROW! Start again...THROW. Went to some art streams to see if it would loosen the lock and while entertaining...nope!

It's one of those cases where 'in the future, no prob, it's the right now that's a problem', or rather the past.

...at this point I should mention I feel very guilty about not getting out for for y'all...and writing faster (or at all in this case).
