A pair of sisters awaken to a Utopia among the stars, one eager to explore yet wary of the changes wrought both upon the world she once knew and within her own mind. The other intimidated by a world far larger than she could have ever imagined and eager to once again walk among the living.

They are known as Luna and Celestia and in this new Equestria they have been made redundant.

A woman who was once a pony known as Bitter Leaf, DCI to the city of Appleseed was found murdered in a back alley. Resurrected through the wonders of technology she is given the task of tracking down her killer. However strong evidence points to foreign espionage, important technology has been stolen and if it isn't recovered covertly then it could spark a conflict between two of the most powerful star faring civilizations in the galaxy.

The projected casualties are measured in the billions.

Twilight just wants to sleep; unfortunately for her, not only is Celestia in a playful mood, but Luna is itching for some quality time. Shining Armor and Cadence then show up, and it turns into tug of war with Twilight as the rope. The prize? Spending quality time with everypony's favorite purple alicorn.

This story has Twilight/Celestia and implied Twilight/Luna. Also, Cadence has a very... vivid imagination.

Now a plotless(okay, so there's a bit of plot. Just a smidge, though.) ball of comedic fluff with multiple chapters.

Princess Luna's Lunar Stallions kidnap Twilight Sparkle when they see how lonely Luna is, and give her to the Princess as a gift. Nightmare Moon emerges from Princess Luna's psyche during the sleepover. The dark goddess would love nothing more than to have the beautiful mare all to herself, and the resulting chaos forces Celestia to call a psychologist to sort out Luna's multiple personalities.

Twilight Sparkle begins a great journey when Luna appears to her with grim news. She must gather the gang and again set out to save all of Equestria and beyond from a return of darkness. Their travels will take them to places none could have imagined, both in the physical realm and within themselves while exploring the depths of immortality and the origins of the world. Twilight must face her inner demons as well as great emotional turmoil as the journey brings about feelings she never thought could exist. Will her forays into the dark places of the world and her own heart break her..?

Disclaimer: Story takes place after the events of Season 2. It disregards Seasons 3 and 4. My apologies if this upsets you.

Twilight and her friends are approached by Princess Luna who presents them with a set of questions that trigger a long and perilous journey.

Did you ever stop to wonder what became of Trixie, Gilda and Blueblood after your encounters? What did these episodes truly mean to you? What role will they yet play in the lives of the Elements of Harmony?

Last, are these questions as relevant as the journey towards the answers? Who will benefit from seeking these answers - you, them, or I?

Luna has been redeemed by the elements of harmony, but is finding that salvation is harder to come by. Ponies avoid her, the memories of Nightmare Moon still fresh in their minds. Additionally, after a thousand years of solitude and silence, she’s having trouble adjusting to life in noisy, crowded, living Equestria.

Change never happens easily, and Luna struggles despite the help of her sister and new friends, failing as much as she succeeds.

Perhaps the Moon, her prison for so very long, is truly where Luna belongs after all.

Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna have been secretly dating since Luna's first Nightmare Night upon returning from her thousand-year banishment to the moon. What happens when the princess of the night decides to finally pop the question?

When Luna had no other choice, she cried out for Celestia and Celestia came. For one thousand years, Luna wondered what happened when Celestia left; now she's finding out...

But is it already too late, or will Luna be able to take the role she had so long dreamed of? The dream of being a mother?

While studying the founding of Equestria in the Royal Library, Twilight comes across a very odd, and very old, book. Some of the historical accounts found therein are very familiar, part of any filly's childhood education, but there are more details. Troubling details. Since Celestia has taken leave for unknown reasons, Luna is the only pony around who gives Twilight any hope of finding out the truth. A truth that, as it turns out, Celestia never wanted her to know.

Teen rated for 'sad feels' and implied (though not explicit) deaths.
