When you were a foal you ended up with front row seats to a momentous event. Unfortunately that same event caused you brain damage enough that to this day you can't keep both your eyes open for long and the one eye that can see perfectly fine is unable to process color anymore.

Freshly broken up with yet another mare you return to the place that cost you your sight with little going for you other than being a weather Pegasus. Your boss as it turns out would be the last pony anypony would expect you to get along with at first. But since she doesn't know and you long since forgave her it should be fine... at least until she decides you're her newest prank victim.

(AN: I'm considering putting Derpy in here but not sure yet. Also after the first few chapters updates will be PAINFULLY slow, at least while I'm working on my other stories. Fav at your own risk)

The theme/mood/atmosphere of every chapter is influenced by the song prompt chosen.

Rainbow Dash is many things. Awesome, radical, amazing, and at least twenty percent cooler than any other pony in Equestria.

She is also lost, lonely and uncertain. Not that anypony else would know.

During the day she is everything everypony expects her to be: she is fast, daring, and adventurous, but when the sun goes down, she is left alone with her thoughts. Tired of simply yearning for something more, she sets out on a night of soul searching and stumbles onto a friend in need, and maybe, underneath the vanilla twilight, she finds something more.

The title says it all. By the way, I was absolutely hammered when I wrote this. Don't say I didn't warn you.

How far would one go to fit in with eveypony else? Would somepony give up their home, their friends, or even possibly their life?

I always thought life was a bit dreary and after losing everything I had nothing to live for. So after an unfortunate accident whilst drunk I find myself here in Equestria, I think is the name, with a butt load of talking cartoon like talking ponies. They have magic, which is nearly impossible for me to do, but still attainable, but that isn't the strangest part. I have conversed with a deity of light, one of dark, one of love and another of chaos, but that isn't the strangest part. I met the saviors of this place, The Elements of Harmony, six fun loving and caring mares. And the worst part is I think I fell for one of them.

When Rainbow Dash gets a letter that tells her about an accident, she suddenly finds herself flying home for the first time in many years, with her thoughts boggled and her heart racing, only hoping to discover the best, where as her mind can only consider the worst.

After an unfortunate accident, that leaves one of Twilight's friend heavily injured, the unicorn start having doubts about her magic and the value of her friendship.

And then they passed away. One was a villain determined to destroy everything. The other was a child looking for security in his limited life. They found themselves blessed to have a second chance in a new world.
