The world had returned to normal after the fighters defeated both Galeem and Dharkon and the spirits that had been robbed of their physical bodies by Galeem were finally set free from their controllers and peace returned on the new world. However in a parallel universe Galeem had only begun his ultimate goal of creating a new world. All of Equestria's peace was threatened and during times of crisis neither royal sisters could be found. The only ones who could possibly preserve peace was the Smash Fighters themselves. Unfortunately, they were devoured by Galeem's light and the ponies of Equestria were robbed of their physical forms along with many other unlucky victims, except one. Having managed to escape from Galeem's attack, Starlight soon meets Kirby who was also the only survivor. Now joining forces with Kirby, Starlight begins her journey with Kirby to defeat Galeem, the lord of light.

A decade has passed and while Chrysalis perished along with her industrial empire, her two sons were granted to live a, mostly, average childhood. Under the love of their caring father and under the roof of Thorax's new hive, Calyx and Spiracles found themselves busy pursuing their own interests with a fair share of friends, carefree and totally oblivious of their past as heirs of the industrial nightmare every changeling wants to forget.

Unfortunately, as the three spent some time out of the hive, a misunderstanding led to the abrupt arrest of the father. Desperate, the brothers rushed to the woods of Blood Oak in search of the supposed help. Not fully aware that remnants of their true past waited there for them to confront, and some of its strange inhabitants will try to bring the worst out of the two.

Deep under the resplendent city of Canterlot lies a web of vaults, containing many secrets hidden from the common folk. One of such undercrofts shelters an extraordinary artifact – the crimson horn of King Sombra, the uneasy spirit of the corrupted unicorn still within it.

After months of careful consideration, Princess Celestia ventures down into the delves underneath to confront the fallen king, determined to aid him and bring him serenity at long last.

When an old ruin is unearthed under Ponyville, it will take the boldest and most adventurous of ponies to dare sound its depths. Daring Do knows she's such a pony.

So what if she's eight and a half, and Dad says she can't go? That's a big age to reach, and he doesn't have to find out. So what if millennia-old dangers and secrets lurk in the darkness? That's the point of adventures.

She's got a saddlebag full of useful tools, countless stories telling her what ought to happen, and her Mom's old helmet. You don't need much more for your first adventure than that.

Most things had returned to normal following the Festival of Friendship, but Tempest felt there was still one matter to be settled. It had been no easy feat convincing the pirate captain to travel with her, much less alone and unaware of the destination. But having the Princess of Friendship on your side could do wonders, apparently.

The life of a traveling musician is difficult. For Octavia, home is no longer a place but a cello case. All the same, she continues looking for new places. Every week brings a new city and a new hotel room. Every night brings a new gig or a new bar.

Late one of these nights, she finds herself roaming the streets of Canterlot, the city that once fooled her into believing it was home. Now she's just there for the gigs.

Entering motherhood is a worrisome prospect for any mare. Twilight Velvet is no exception. Pregnant with her first child, she awakes one night to her baby kicking her, and contemplates motherhood. And, getting inspired, writes her baby a song.
