Meanwhile, Pinkie Pie comes up with an idea for the best surprise ever. For three years she works in secret on a surprise for Twilight Sparkle. But Twilight's gift won't be revealed until the last of her friends has passed away.

What kind of surprise could possibly make up for the loss of your best friends?

It's Christmas in Ponyville and it's one holiday Scootaloo could live without. What was so great about it anyway? It's not like she had family to share it with. But this Christmas, after wishing on a star, it seems she'll finally get what she's always wanted.

Two months have gone by and neither have been able to act on their feelings despite it being on their minds day in and day out. Is it possible for a relationship, or even just friendship to bloom if the two ponies in question are nearly incapable of voicing their thoughts and feelings?

A story of finding the courage to face your fears and make sacrifices for those you love. It's not important that you SAY how much you care. It's important that you SHOW how much you care.
