Through luck and foresight King Sombra has managed to avoid the grave, but just barely. At the cost of much of his magical powers and his whole kingdom. With nothing, but his life, to lose he decides to make a daring gambit by infiltrating Ponyville and exacting his revenge from within.

With no formal spy training and little experience socializing with the common pony Sombra find's himself bumbling in his attempt to take over the town. With no base of power and little to his name Sombra finds himself losing the fight before it has started until a cross-eyed pagasus offers too help him. Now, in order to conquer Ponyville he must first conquer the home of Derpy Hooves, which may be his greatest challenge yet.

(An idea that came from a joke I made on a Facebook thread and I just decided to run with it. This story isn't high on my priority list, but if a few people like it I'll try to make an update for it something within the month. It's labeled comedy, but I'm not a funny person, sorry.)

It's been a few years, but it finally happened. Rarity finally told him it just wasn't gong to work out. Now all Spike wants to do is sit in his room and wallow in his misery. Fortunately, Rainbow Dash has other ideas. After all, she needs a partner for the Equestrian Unity Challenge and he could use some time away from home. Of course, making a partnership work is hard enough without the introduction of unexpected rivals or unexpected feelings.

Spike, Big Macintosh, Caramel and Pokey Pierce have a special group that meets once or twice a month. They sit around, have some drinks, hang out, and talk about anything and everything. But this time around, Spike brings in a guest to the meeting, Shining Armor. With this new member, what new secrets will be unfolded? And more importantly, who will pay the bill at the end of the night?

While waiting for Rarity to arrive to meet with Spike for something special, the dragon encounters Big Macintosh. The two start to chat and Big Mac shares some advice with the dragon. Will Spike be able to take his words to heart?

A few years down the line, Scootaloo is still earthbound. While still puttering her scooter around, she has noticed her friends have changed their focus away from their cutie marks. This bothers the orange pegasus and causes her to look for a new friend. And she finds one in a purple dragon with newly grown wings.

It's amazing how much can change in a month. One day the baby dragon in the crystal castle next door is small enough to be carried on your back, thirty days later and he's larger than you, learning to use the new pair of wings he just grew.

Or at least trying to learn to fly. Still, everyone has to start somewhere, and even the greats sometimes come from the humblest beginnings. Just look at Rainbow Crash.

Actually, don't. Look Rainbow in the eye, and she might just take that as a challenge. Poor Spike never stood a chance.

Spike and Rainbow Dash are pitted in a fight to write the better story.

If only they had a story to write about.

A new world has opened up, and a magical disturbance has been located inside that world. King Mickey sends Sora and Donald to this new world to find the disturbance and deal with it properly. But when they arrive at this new world, more problems are added to them, the Fall Formal, keeping where they're really from a secret, and most of all, what's really on the line...

Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns is the center of magical research in Equestria. Since Apple Bloom developed a love of potion making and an interest in the theory behind magic, she recognizes what an honor it would be to study there. But that would also mean being the only non-unicorn student to ever attend, leaving her friends and family, and moving to a strange city... and that's if she can pass an entrance exam designed to select the most magically gifted unicorns.

Spike has never wanted more than to be Twilight's number one assistant. But when Twilight points out that there's a pony right in front of him who needs an experienced assistant even more than she does, it means considering a life where he's making the most of his talents... but one without Twilight by his side.

For both of them, facing hard decisions are just part of growing up.
