Knowing what they did was wrong, Soarin and the others try to fix their mistakes at the urging of Spitfire. Even if they didn't get ordered by their captain, they were going to apologize anyway. They quickly find out forgiveness isn't just given out.

After her sister's banishment, Celestia realized it was her failure that led to her sister's fall, and she vowed to build a better nation that her sister would have wanted. Here, Nightmare Moon is neither myth nor legend; everyone is taught about what truly happened to Princess Luna, and that the two are one and the same. Through her millennia of atonement, Celestia upholds her sister's visions for a better Equestria, reviving her lost legacy.

Now, at the 1000th summer sun celebration, the town of Ponyville is ready. Eager to witness the historic event, everyone's there to show their love and appreciation as they welcome the Princess of the Night's return. Would Nightmare Moon still seek retribution and bring nighttime eternal? Or would she reunite with her long-lost sister, graciously returning to her throne? It doesn't matter to Celestia. When Sunset woke up to find herself in some part of Equestria she's never been before, she had originally planned to drive all the ponies apart in this place and gain more power to show Celestia that she's strong enough to be an Alicorn. But she didn't need to; all the ponies were already fighting with one another.

Deciding to head to Equestria, Sunset Shimmer stepped into the portal believing it to just be another normal weekend (for her standards anyway).

Unfortunately, something went awry with the statue portal, and she instead found herself in a new world unexpectedly.

Luckily, Sunset met this world’s heroes: the Teen Titans. While in Jump City, she decided to aid this team while they all figure out a way for Sunset to get back.

Beast Boy's been having it rough after his friends in the Teen Titans traveled the world to help protect everyone from evildoers who wish to take over or destroy one part or the entire planet. A friend who he has a crush on and thought would never see again was back from her stone imprisonment in a great sacrifice to save Jump City from a disastrous quake created by her own power, but has no memory of him, or even herself and her earth-bending powers. After being rejected and heart broken, he becomes self-conscious of his appearance when the citizens give him odd looks, thinking they only see him as a green-skinned mutant instead of the animal shape-shifting heroic teen. Quitting the Teen Titans without his friends to see him off with a tearful goodbye, Beast Boy runs away, only to end up flying through a mysterious portal that appeared out of nowhere and end up in a different world, where he might begin his life anew as a normal teen. Little does he know this new world was the home of the magical mishaps at a school called Canterlot High.

An emotionally devastated and homeless Sunset seeks shelter in one of the most scariest and most avoided areas in Canterlot during a winter storm, Hillhurst Manor on the edge of the Everfree Forest. At least all of those stories of monsters are just because humans fear the dark and avoid what they don’t understand, right? Maybe not, and now because of a careless wish made during distress, Sunset is stuck having to return creatures from a comic series back to the pages they spawned from before the wish can be broken. At least she will have allies, even if they were the least expected as well as becoming part of a very unconventional family.
