Thank you immensely for getting this sequel to your previous story started. Thus far, I like the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. So, this is set sometime after Twilight ascended. But I definitely liked the dialogue between the Mane 6 and Sunset as Sunset finally realized she was back in her original Equestria.
Definitely looking forward to the next chapter.

Part of me can only guess your HC 3 is that there is an actual Element of Empathy.
Well to be fair with this, Alicornhood feels earned for Sunset as she did just fix an AU Equestria world's problems. When I get my main account back, there is something similar I've been planning where Sunset ends up doing something that would be an easy way to say "Yeah this was earned" with a story arc I've been building up.
Certainly enjoyed the chats in this chapter, first between Sunset and the Mane Six (which resulted in Sunset figuring out that she ascended) and then between Sunset and Celestia and Luna. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all wonderfully done.
I quite agree that Sunset certainly earned ascension with that helping fix an alternate world. And, yeah, her turning out to be the Alicorn of Empathy would definitely be very appropriate, as would the actual existence of the Element of Empathy. Of course, Sunset meeting Spike would be a great touch as it would be one of the first times Sunset met a sapient from a non-pony race.
Very certainly looking forward to more of this.
I really hope there will be more of this. I think a lot of us also really like these head-canons and want to see more of them.
i feel like your writing has improved a lot over the course of Mirror Equestria and this fic! that makes me so happy to see, and i’ve had such a nice time reading both. imo, you’ve captured the same spirit the show has in your fics! you’re quite good at writing everyone’s characterization as well (:

I also like you confirming the suspicions that several of us already had concerning Sunset and her Element. The dialogue with Luna concerning that was a beautiful touch. And Sunset's reaction to Fluttershy befriending Discord and the girls defeating Tirek was superb as well.

Really enjoyed your stories so far. I know its a headcanon thing but I firmly believe Sunset is Celestia's daughter, with it is through adoption or blood. I honestly love read stories with that in it. Also after eq3 friendship games you can't tell me Sunset is mot an alicorn. I believe she just needs to go through the accession process. Look forward to your next chapter.

Yeah. It started with one (Celestia herself). Then it became two (when Cadance ascended, even if she wasn't anywhere near as well known as the first until the Royal Wedding and return of the Crystal Empire). Then it became three (when Luna returned). Then four and five (when Twilight and Sunset respectively ascended). And relatively soon (i.e. a bit over a year), it will be six (when Flurry Heart is born).
But, you know? That's not a bad thing in the slightest. :-D
