This story is a sequel to A Cold Day in Canterlot

Horn Valley is a sacred place to the Changeling hive. Legend says that the large, spiky protrusion on the canyon's western cliff-face is the horn of the goddess, Queen Papillion, trapped under the rocks during a land slide. This sacred ground contains some of the hive's only fresh water in the harsh desert environment, so when the dragons come, looking to take the land for themselves, the changelings aren't going to give up their holy land without a fight. (A little clarification, this story takes place 12 years before the events of the show and Shadow Strike doesn't have a lot of things he has in my other stories with him. He doesn't speak in haiku and he doesn't have deception, because he learned how to do that AFTER deserting)

Ex-queen Chrysalis, alone, and without company.

Twilight Sparkle, the princess of Friendship, and the new giver of Blessings.

Loneliness, the assassin of all those who have lived.

Happiness, the saving grace of all those who have been targeted by Loneliness.

And the Blessing, the one who ties it all together.

After the invasion of Canterlot failed, the Changelings were given a strict rule by their Queen. No Changeling was ever, EVER, allowed to speak of that failure for as long as they lived, neither were they allowed to utter the name of the princess who defeated their Queen, lest they pay the penalty of Death.

One Changeling accidentally lets slip the name of the princess during a meal, and immediately Queen Chrysalis sentences him to die by stoning.

His execution doesn't go the way she had in mind, though...

This story based and inspired by one of my favorite scenes from Monty Python: Life of Brian.

Twilight walks into Quills and Sofas to find out, to her surprise, that Chrysalis works there.

It's that time of year again. The snow's falling, the animals are sleeping and everypony is bringing in the holiday cheer. But for two incognito Changelings and one mare, this is so much more than a holiday.

Maybe, just maybe, our own changeling queen meant it when she wanted them all to say how lovely she looks. Maybe she really does look lovely in a gown.
Maybe she just needs someone to assure her.

In an Alternate version of the Canterlot wedding Queen Chrysalis comes to Canterlot to get what she wants, and that thing apprently... is not conquest... it's the other half of her soul... Cadence. (One shot)

In the wake of the interrupted wedding of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, the Royal Guard went on a changeling hunt, fanning out throughout Equestria to find any changelings living amongst ponykind. The captured changelings have been confined to a guard barracks in Canterlot.

Meanwhile Princess Celestia is finding herself swamped with petitions from ponies across Equestria asking for amnesty for their changeling friends, colleagues, and lovers. Princess Luna, who has been itching to regain some responsibility since her return, offers to take on the petitioners... and the changelings.

When Twilight is given a journal from her teacher, Princess Celestia, she never expected to learn the past of Queen of the Changelings before she was even a queen. This is the story of Princess Papillon, who was the Princess of the Flutter Ponies.
