When Twilight learns of a strange new town which has suddenly appeared in Equestria, she decides that it warrants further investigation. So off she goes, dragging Starlight Glimmer along with her; a great opportunity for a friendship lesson.

It's not long before they both start to wish that they'd stayed in Ponyville.

Cause and effect. Opposite and equal reactions. If a butterfly... You know how it goes. The point is that your actions, large or small, have consequences. If they turn out good or bad is often not up to you. Especially when you live with the Princess.

But fear of the consequences is not a reason not to act when you need to.

What will happen to everyone's favorite changeling Royal Guard when Chrysalis comes to town?

This is my take on what will happen 10-12 years in the future of the fantastic story The Changeling of the Guard by vdrake77 when A Canterlot Wedding takes place.

There is a point where we need to stop and we have clearly passed it. BUT LET’S KEEP GOING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Title pretty much says it all.

The cultists thought they couldn't go wrong with a resurrection of King Sombra. They'd get a cool ruler, rad hallucinations, and he'd probably chain them up and whip them! It was the perfect plan...

Until the police showed up, hit the Dark Lord of Crystals with a paralysis spell, and dragged him off to court.

"All rise, Princess Celestia presiding..."

Twilight finally finished her 'read later' list of books. It took her years to do and she was quite proud of her accomplishment. A small problem is pointed out by Pinkie Pie, which brings Twilight to a stunning realization.

All things told, Princess Flurry Heart really doesn't have any major problems in her life. Sure, she's a Princess and heiress to the throne of the Crystal Kingdom and potential successor to her mother Princess Cadence, who has been, without question, one of the Kingdom's best rulers since it's inception, but she know she'll grow into that.

She might have Princess Twilight Sparkle as an overly-enthusiastic teacher who seems to think she can learn everything there is to know in the world before she hits her teens, but Flurry Heart knows that her Aunt Twilight means well and knows that as long as she tries her best the Princess of Friendship will be happy with her.

All in all, the Princess's life is pretty good, all things considered.

Now if only she could figure out why she's hearing voices late at night: voices that mention crystals, the sky, and her name...

Shining Armor and Cadence's spell reveals something completely unexpected as it expels Chrysalis and her changelings out of Canterlot: A secret kept from everypony for several years...
