Almost ten years have passed since Scootaloo helped free Discord. She’s learned to live with the consequences, but it’s never easy. After being fired from the local weather control team, she receives a letter from Princess Celestia, offering her a job as an assistant flight instructor for gifted pegasi. With no better options, she reluctantly accepts. But why her, what game is Celestia playing, and what exactly is going on in Canterlot?

Finding out your friends are rebels trying to kill or overthrow you isn't very easy to deal with either.

But trying to solve the situation? That's a real horn cracker.

After traveling Equestria and finding no place she belongs Trixie returns to the one place that felt different; Ponyville. She has chosen to swallow a little (just a little) bit of her pride in order to ask the only pony to ever have impressed her for help. She wants Twilight Sparkle to become her teacher in magic...and in the ways of friendship. She hopes to improve herself, but she keeps having these second thoughts...

This story is told while alternating viewpoints between Trixie and Twilight Sparkle. The ~~~~ symbolizes a perspective change.

Twilight Sparkle is the prized student of Princess Celestia, two-fold champion of Equestria, bearer of The Element of Magic, and general mare of renown. But we are all a product of our history and Twilight, along with the whole of Equestria, is no exception. When she is asked by Princess Celestia to look into an strange new field of magic, our studious heroine will get to learn first-hoof just how fickle history, and how important its quirks, can be.

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

One fateful day Twilight uses a summoning spell to bring a mysterious being from another world to Equestria. Unknown to her this sets off a chain of events that will change the world forever. It is up to Twilight and her new visitor to decide if these changes will be for the better.

No knowledge of TRON is necessary to enjoy the story.

Ten years after Celestia disappeared with no warning nor trace, Twilight Sparkle receives a message from the lost princess calling for help. When Twilight and Rainbow speed to Canterlot, Dash is accidentally transported to a strange world – but in her race to escape the System, she faces an enemy she never expected.

But as they begin to tell their friends and family, how do they reconcile their relationship with the vast gulf in their experiences and the distance that an immortal alicorn princess must keep between herself and her subjects? Maybe this was a bad idea after all. Maybe their friends will just make things worse. Particularly since some of their friends are having their own relationship problems. And a secret society of masked ponies with their eye on Celestia's throne are looking to make the whole question irrelevant.
