When Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she has perfected, she successfully pulls a being from another universe into Equestria. That being coincidentally is a human...that human coincidentally is you. What at first just seems like an opportunity for first contact between two species soon becomes something much more when certain truths are brought to light...and everything you knew about your life is flipped onto its head.

NOTE: At times in this story, the main character's thought process will be shown as an inner monologue with his brain. BRAIN's dialogue will appear in this color of text.

Spartans never die, they're just missing in action. This has never been more true for Jorge-052 as, after activating the slipspace drive that was supposed to kill him, he is instead flung into a strange world where war is but a distant memory. Will the aging soldier be able to adapt to this new peaceful planet? Or will his only salvation be found in finding a way back to his own chaotic universe?

Will the mane 6 help Walter Kovac find peace within himself or will he bring them all down with him in his cold views of reality and existence?

After Twilight discovers a dusty old book detailing trans-dimensional portals used by denizens of ancient Equestria, she learns that one of these portals is right outside Ponyville. But something went wrong with the spell. Instead of a being from a different dimension, she summoned a pegasus who seems more confused by this than her. When she tries to send him back to where he came from, she gets hauled along for the ride. Turns out the portals match their users to the universe they are entering. How will Twilight handle being human?

A cold, calculating assassin is teleported to the magical land of Equestria due to the unstable powers of the siren, Lilith. Will our awkward, haiku-obsessed hero be able to adapt to the Magic of Friendship, or will he simply end up murdering everything in sight like he's used to? Let's hope its the former.
Only one thing is truly known, this was a challenge he was NOT prepared for!

Set before the events of Fatum Fortis Vocat Redux, Twilight Sparkle is one day asked by Princess Luna to investigate a strange tome. The author of the tome, a pony by the name of Quadrivium, had apparently written his book to hold powerful spells of magic. The problem, Twilight soon finds out, is deciphering it. With the help of a later written book, Twilight investigates the meanings of the cryptic tome and soon finds herself in more than she ever bargained for.

Author Notes:
This story is the precursor to the rewrite of Fatum Fortis Vocat. It was originally intended to be a one-shot story for blawrg, whom randomly made a suggestion/request in some manner. Then, as I saw the potential in it, I decided to go ahead and use this opportunity to make way for the rewrite. I will be placing a heavy emphasis on the appearance of Luna and Twilight here, so forgive me for not doing a full "mane six" version. It will probably be about four to five chapters long, so I hope you enjoy it.

Please also note that the human names and organizations, such as links to pictures and explanations, are from my minds imagined world of Anagonia. It was to be, originally, the setting for Fatum Fortis Vocat (Non-Pony version). It is currently the setting for many of my other non-published non-pony related stories.
