This story is a sequel to The Stars of Darkness

By all accounts, Wild Wings should be very happy with how things in his life have turned out. He and his friends Shooting Star and Morninglight have been freed from any influence of the Elements of Destruction, thanks mostly to the Elements of Harmony blasting them (almost) into oblivion. He's got his old job back as one of Luna's Generals, and even some new friends to be around- especially Rainbow Dash, against whom he races almost constantly. He survived something that should have claimed his life, and is ready to get this whole "second chance" thing well and truly started...

...but something's bothering him. Something that is nestled so deep in his heart that he can't shake it, something that is frustrating him to the point of everypony around him asking if they can help.

But can he find the courage to admit his fears... to tell them all that despite being given this second chance, he may have already destroyed what he wanted the most out of it? Or the courage to admit to himself that the beautiful mare he can't stop thinking about may want nothing to do with him... and that the family he so longs for may have already slipped through his hooves?

Luckily for Wild Wings, he has some very good friends- from an excitable filly to the Moon Princess herself- who are more than willing to help him in his time of need. But will they be enough to get him to confront the one pony in Equestria who he most desires to see again?

In this story, the young archaeologist pony Daring Do teams up with an expedition seeking the ancient ruins of Zenith- a temple wrapped in South Equestrian mythology that has never been seen in recorded history. Plans for the expeditions all go to pieces as another party seeking to find the ruins for their own reasons soon present themselves: The Gryphons.

Aggressive and militaristic, the Gryphons seek the ruins to show that their species ruled over the continent during early history, proving their species' superiority. The interaction between the ponies and the gryphons does not go well, and Daring is left on her own, alone in the jungle. Will she be able to get back to safety? [Part One of the Riflepony Series] When an unexpected heat wave scorches Appleloosa, Braeburn finds himself unable to save his family's apple orchard. That is, until he meets a certain pony whom he thought to be fictitious. The mare tells him of a treasure that is said to be buried in the town of Dodge Junction, and asks for his assistance in finding it. Will the tales of Cunning the Colt's treasure prove to be true, or were they simply folktale?

Despondent and injured, Rainbow Dash lies in Ponyville Hospital after an attempt to take her own life. There, she encounters Pipsqueak, recovering from an accident of his own. To entertain themselves, Rainbow tells the young colt an epic tale of six heroes on a quest for revenge. But thanks to her fractured state of mind and his vivid imagination, the boundaries between fantasy and reality begin to blur as the tale advances.

Carrot Top has baked the most scrumptious carrot cake in Ponyville. She had to. There's just no way she can lose to Applejack this year in Fillydelphia - this year she's taking home the crown, no thanks to her friend Derpy. And yet things do not go as planned.....

This is a realistic view on how shipping would actually happen in the show. Almost every pony has been shipped with everypony else, but this is what would actually happen if two ponies ever attempted at a relationship.
