Thanks to her new item, Sunset is safe. Now the only way to set her friends free is to beat Bakura is a shadow duel. When the girls hear that Camp Everfree is about to close, Rainbow Dash talks to her father, who happens to be friends with an employee of Kaiba Corp. He suggests a charity tournament to Mr. Kaiba, and he grants it. Since Sunset won at the Friendship Games Tournament, she is the current title holder. So now, 16 duelists from around the globe will battle each to see who gets to duel Sunset for the championship crown. But one of the duelists seems to have his eye on Kaiba's company. Now, Sunset and her friends must find out why. If not, the camp is done for. Next story is Friends Beyond Time.

Unable to handle the pain of betrayal after the Anon-A-Miss incident, Sunset Shimmer has left Canterlot High School behind, and, wanting to get as far away from her old life as possible, has moved half way across the world to begin a new life in Domino City, Japan. As she starts her first day at her new school, Domino High, she has no interest in making friends.

That is, until she meets a young boy named Yugi Muto, a boy obsessed with playing games, especially a popular card game called Duel Monsters.

Little does Sunset know that this fateful meeting will be the start of her new life, with new friends, new adventures, new enemies, and her new role in the rise of the future King Of Games.

I activate the spell Needed Explanation! With this I have to give a long drawn out explanation on why the hell I'm fighting a demon from hell, a horde of insects, a hydra, and an amalgamation with a children's card game!

Okay in all seriousness I thought I could just go over to a friends place and have a fun time playing Yugioh(since I've been playing Magic the Gathering for so long I wanted to get back into the swing of things), nothing really special right? Well that is until I met the witch doctor Voodoo and lost a bet, now I'm stuck in another world with nothing more but the clothes on my back, four yugioh decks, and a new duel disk he gave me anyways and threw me to another world for his 'amusement'.

So I'm stuck with people that don't know what the game is, and I can also summon monsters that can do actual physical things. And let's just say that in this world, it's play for keeps.

The Main 6 and Spike find that their world will be under the threat of the Sacred Beasts. In order to stop it, they must go to the human world of Duel Monsters. While there, they will attend Duel Academy and learn about Duel Monsters.

Everything began with a dream. Soon, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and their friends end up in a strange new world where card games decide everything. With the help of their new friends, Yugi Muto, Yusaku Fujiki, and their friends, some more reluctant than others, the Mane 7 now have to go on many perilous journeys to help keep this new world and their world safe.
