This story is a sequel to Little Choices

In the aftermath of the fall of Canterlot, Princess Rainbow Dash and her friends have found themselves in the newly restored Crystal Empire, seeking a power that they can use to push back Queen Chrysalis and save Equestria. But with the history of the Empire shrouded in darkness, finding this power will prove a challenge.

To make matters worse, a shadowy presence lurks at the edges of the Empire, and the Changeling Swarm will only take so long to discover where the last remaining princess has gone. The pressure is mounting, and even though she feels she isn't cut out for this, Rainbow Dash must step up to her station and lead her friends, and the Empire, to save Equestria... or lose everything she holds dear.

Cover Art was drawn up by the absolutely incredible Novaintellus. They are one of my favorite brony artists, so please, go show them some love!

Never thought I would write a story that necessitates this, but beware the spoilers in the comments!

When a starship is launched, there are a huge number of hoops for it to jump through to be cleared for launch- to be allowed to come even close to seeing the light of day.

Then one ship that came up short of all those hoops was granted an exception because of how unique it was- there likely wasn't any set of hoops it could hop through, simply because it wouldn't fit. It was too large.

Unfortunately, while it launched successfully, its builder- and owner- was already dead.

So, with nobody left with a claim to it, it fell into the ownership of the Navy- under whose authority it launched. And what is the Navy going to do with a starliner of this size?

Personnel movements, of course! If anyone wants a ride to fringe worlds at the warfront, or back from them, and doesn't mind becoming a cute magical pony for the rest of their lives, she can get them home and back three times over in the same time that even the fastest other ship would require just to get them home the first time.

Updates on Thursdays, when ready. Why didn't I have this note in here before...?

Mistakes have consequences. Right?

Why yes, they do. As a matter of fact, every mistake has consequences, proportional to the size of the mistake. As a result, when a determined young mage makes a terrible mistake by reaching for the Beyond...

The consequences are far larger than she could have imagined.

These are those consequences.

This story is ostensibly a rewrite of The Boy who Disappeared... except that it's so far different I'm not sure it actually qualifies as a rewrite, so much as a whole new story.

Updates Wednesdays.

Chapters (11)

The Enterprise is sent to investigate a bunch of mysterious signals that ripple from deep within an unexplored area of the Gamma Quadrant. In their investigations, they come across a strange creature—a small white unicorn with an adventurous spirit. Lost in space, she just wants to go home, and the mysterious signals are her best lead.

However, unexplored space is always filled with strange new worlds, vast mysteries... and dangers the likes of which no one can be prepared for.

Part of the Transcendental Sequence. (The start, actually!)

"Secretly" a mega-crossover. No previous knowledge of any franchise should be required to read.

Edit: story has been canceled, alas.

CANCELLED AND BEING REWRITTEN HERE: REWRITE

Sunset, instead of fleeing to another dimension, talked it out with Celestia and decided to stay in Equestria. As she continues her studies, Celestia gets a new student.

A young purple prodigy, Twilight Sparkle!

Celestia tasks her with taking care of the young filly, which she is not too keen about. All Sunset wants to do is study magic with Celestia. What kind of scenarios are these two young unicorns going to get into?

Rated "Teen" because of themes, language, and a bit of violence. Sex tag because of raunchy/steamy innuendos. Violence tag because of light descriptions of violence and injuries.

In the dead of night, mere weeks after World War II had ended, two young people find themselves chasing an unidentified something out of morbid curiosity. When that something ditches them and they come across a suspicious-looking painting, they soon find themselves thrown head-first into a bizarre world that is, in many ways, similar to their own. Magic is plentiful here in this world, and just the perfect stage on which to set a complex chaotic scheme.

Fortunately—or perhaps unfortunately—the two people who end up surrounded by talking pastel horses also happen to be vampire hunters. And they did not come alone.

Crossover with Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, taking place a full year after the game. A collaboration with Butterfield Pancake. This story was originally on his account, but has been moved to mine for major editing and polishing purposes. Tagged teen, sex, and gore for innuendo and mild violence and bloodshed. This story will have comedic moments to contrast the dark. Human tag for obvious reasons.

Everything had been a blur for Darach Meldrak Obenhjerthe. Darach was the first of his name, clansman of the Meldrak household, and a profound soilder. Unlike most people at the time, Darach wasn't very religious. When he did in the war at the hands, or hooves, of his own horse, he expected to float in the endless void of nothingness, or wind up in the pyres of damnation if unlucky.

To be honest, he expected a lot of things. But what he got was something that clearly wasn't on his expected menu. Darach woke up reborn into the body of a small, winged unicorn, she has to make sense of his new life as a small pink princess, and try not to disturb her new parents with her strange personality while occasionally being visited by six ponies while trying to find her place in the world.

A revival-fic of "Crystal Reincarnation" and a Christmas present to those who saw potential from it.

Chapters (2)

Our story starts with: 'Darach Meldrak Obenhjerthe' The first of his name and clansman of the Meldrak household. Specifically it starts with the end of his life, at the hands or rather hooves, of his own horse as it accidentally tramples him to death after getting startled by a snake.

Darach had abandoned his religious ways back during the war, so when he died he expected nothing more than the cold void of nothingness, perhaps the pyres of damnation if he was unlucky.
What he got was quite a bit different from his expectations.

Reborn into the body of a horned pegasus, he would have to make sense of his new life as a small pink princess, and try not to disturb his new parents too much with his strange personality.

Behind the scenes though, strange forces begin to stir.
Change will come and in time it will be up to the young princess to face it...
