Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

Luna freaks out.

Long ago, the Seraphim granted power to the Doom Slayer that he might conquer the forces of Hell. The Doom Slayer has won, Hell lies defeated, and now he returns to the Seraphim's holy realm. His mission is not over though, he has promises to fulfill, rewards to collect, and as always, evil to defeat. After losing her hive, Queen Chrysalis is forced to start another one. Luckily she has the help of a few loyal subjects who never accepted their fellow changelings new way of life. They must stay hidden from enemies, collect enough food to survive and rebuild their strength. Now the first brood has hatched and there is something very different about one of the larva.

After yet another cataclysmic adventure, the Doctor goes back to his Tardis, only to find it malfunctioning when he attempts to travel to another time period. Instead, he arrives at Equestria, where he is stranded because of the Tardis' continuous malfunctions. One word come to his mind. Pony. He himself is a pony. There is a pony in front of him with crossed eyes. Ponies also have horns and wings. Ponies talk. Pony! Pony! Pony! Find it all in this new episode of Doctor Who!

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

Twilight and her five friends are transported during a botched spell, across dimensions to... Ponyville, Equestria? But not the same one that they knew. Sitting on a bench is Harpsy and Babar. The Doctoress avoids apples from an aspiring Applebuck. And in a library across town, six stallions join their forces as they try to decipher the appearance of filly look-alikes of themselves around Ponyville!

Canterlot vanishes in a mysterious explosion, an explosion which engulfs all of Equestria. Twilight manages to save herself, but the world she finds herself in is not the one she remembers. Her friends have no memory of her, the world is trapped in darkness, and Celestia is missing. Can Twilight figure out what's happened to her and the rest of Equestria before the darkness overwhelms her?

Rainbow Dash has some hard lessons to learn about life, at the expense of Ditzy Doo and her coltfriend, Big Mac. Along the way, a heart is broken, a dream is crushed, a few fillies left sobbing, and a family ripped apart by strife and prejudice. Can the two unlikely lovers get past it all and truly be happy together, or will there always be some new trouble around the corner?
All is not well in Ponyville.
