She owes the truth to her adoring baby sister... but after all of these years, how can she come out and tell her something that could change the way she sees herself and the world around her?

After failed attemps by Fluttershy to get her brother a job, she takes last resorts and asks Rainbow Dash to find him an easy job with the Wonderbolts. It doesn't end well.

Fluttershy's home is known to be a bastion for homeless animals with no place to go. So, when a stray cat shows up at her door, Fluttershy feels obligated to care for her.

Except the cat isn't a cat at all.

Pinkie Pie is dead. After a three week battle with an incurable disease, she finally passed away in her sleep. Now at the funeral, her five best friends are going to tell the story of the party pony's last days.

Every pegasus in Cloudsdale dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt, colts and fillies alike. All parents reinforce it, saying, "Wonderbolts study hard, Wonderbolts practice every day, Wonderbolts look both ways before crossing the runway." The most dedicated and brightest ponies make it eventually.

But they don't tell the reserves about the traditions the main team holds near and dear.

Nor do the reserves tell the main team of their previous experience with certain nicknames.

Spitfire remembered when Rainbow Dash had told her the story of her old nickname, "Crash," and how it effected her performance in Ponyville as a result. So now she goes to see why another up-and-coming reserve member threw out his badge on his first day.

Too bad the police think otherwise.

While it contains minor spoilers for The Enforcer and Her Blackmailers, the story was written to be enjoyed standalone. It is set in Season 6 Episode 2 after the crystalling and before the train ride. It is intended to be in-canon, and should remain so until such time as we meet Starlight's family.
