Ponies are stupid.

They're stubborn, they don't understand weather patterns, and they need to be hugged when they get hurt.

It's stupid and confusing, but Prince Rutherford isn't going to back down from helping his Honorary Yak.

Fluttershy has always wanted to give more of her kindness towards ponies. However, her shyness impedes her speaking, which makes her hard to express herself. After asking for her help, Pinkie Pie teaches Fluttershy to communicate with physical interactions instead, like hugs.

It works so well that Fluttershy decides to hug every pony in Ponyville.

Based on the scene at the very end of "The Last Roundup": Pinkie Pie and Rarity are left stranded in the Badlands, their long and agonizing journey home requiring them to spend a night alone in the desert. It is here that the latter discovers a painful secret hidden beneath her friend's constant cheerful demeanor.

Despite not being the one famous for bringing a smile to everypony's face wherever she goes, the exhausted (and most unacceptably filthy) fashionista does everything in her power to make her happy again...

Unable to fall asleep, Maud got up in the middle of the night to get a glass of milk. Maud then traveled back upstairs only to find Pinkie Pie's bedroom light turned on. After asking her what was wrong, Pinkie Pie explained that she woke up from a nightmare, and was scared to go back to sleep. Maud plans to fix that, no matter how late she has to stay up.

This was a 1,000 word one shot that I though would be fun to write. Comments are always appreciated, and I'll respond back to each one. Enjoy the story!

Twilight and Spike have a great system for finishing papers late at night. What Twilight doesn't realize is just how much Spike helps her after she passes out at her desk.

It had been a long day of saving the world, and the usually perky pony wanted nothing more than to collapse into bed.

With Spike sneezing flames like an erupting volcano, it's up to Twilight and Starlight to get together and help cure him, before he burns the whole place down.
