One cold autumn night, Twilight Sparkle lets in a pale and weary traveler into her home. When she accidentally discovers his dark secret, she is assaulted by him, and is left to die... When she woke up, she finds that she has been turned into a Vampire, an ancient enemy of Equestria last seen during Nightmare Moon's Rebellion. She now walks the thin line between life and death, sustained only by the blood of others.

Her friends now race against time to find a cure for this ancient curse, and stop the Vampire who infected Twilight, before he can create a new army of Vampires to conquer Equestria. Otherwise, Twilight will join the forces of evil and darkness, as the Bride for the Lord of Vampires. They have to work quickly, as every day passes, Twilight's thirst for her friends' blood increases...

After failing to stop Nightmare Moon in the ancient castle of the pony sisters, Twilight Sparkle is left with a scar that will permanently change the rest of her natural born life. As Twilight recovers from her ordeal, she finds that she is left with a difficult choice. Either live her life as a lie or sacrifice her innocence to protect the ones she loves. The path before her is set and she must now walk it alone. The sands of time continues ever onward, with everyone already trapped in its muddy depths. The sun will rise and the sun will fall. Waiting for its call, Death awaits for all.

I just put the two together

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

After over 1000 years locked in stone, Starlight breaks free of his prison into an equestria more peaceful than what he remembered. However, is equestria ready to accept him back?

The wyvern, one of the few creatures in Equestria known for having such ferocity and enough primal rage to strike fear into the heart of the dragons. To those few that know of their existence, they are but a horrid plague that is trapped in their own icy hell of the northern tundras. Until the one breaks free of her prison, descending down to wreak havoc upon the mining towns of the Frozen North. In order to stop this creature from consuming everything he knows, one stallion must recruit some unsavory allies, including a taxing dragon, a drunken tracker, and a questionable knight and his squire.

Sometimes, your inventions can bring about great good for humanity. And sometimes, they do the opposite. However, a single man actually did BOTH with his creations, and is one of the few survivors left on Earth after the "Ash fall". He decides, with his breakthrough in spatial rendering, to leave the destroyed Earth behind and go for a new world. He aims to go to a fresh Earth, where everything is as it should be, without his existence.

Unfortunately, he goes slightly off-course, and ends up in the wrong world. How will his technology get him through this?

If any of you don't like a little pseudo steam-punk, then you shouldn't read this, because the main character's technology is heavily influenced on its style...except for three certain things.

The beginning of the story was inspired by "Techno-Babble in Equestria" made by N64Fan. You should go check it out. It's pretty good.

Twilight loves to discover, learn, and be amazed. So when rumours spread of ancient ruins existing in Equestria, and when a letter from the Princess of the Sun herself arrives with orders to check them out, she packed her saddlebags, said goodbye to her friends, and left. What she finds baffles her: a structure made of brick. It is similar in shape to some of the houses she's seen in Equestrian, but something is different about it.
