Summer has arrived in Equestria, and Babs Seed is visiting her cousins at Sweet Apple Acres for the whole season. After their first week there, she and Apple Bloom find a lost and abandoned human child named Michael, or Mike for short.

Where did this child come from, and can the Apple Family take care of him?

A 5-year-old boy, named Nathan, is brought from his orphanage in Texas into the Crystal Empire Equestria where he is found by Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. After spending a day in Ponyville then going back to the Crystal Empire, when he tells them that he doesn't have a family and has nowhere to go, Cadance and Shining Armor adopt him as their son.

Sam Canton is nobody special. He has a normal job, doing the same normal things as other normal people. His life is not spectacular, and he likes it that way. But one day he decides to take a walk, unaware that this was going to turn into no ordinary walk. He ends up finding a injured Pegasus, and takes it home to help it, unaware that this is no ordinary pegasus.

This is a Fluttershy/Human story where Fluttershy ends up on Earth and is trying to get back home with the help of a human.

But as he witnesses his life slowly spiral out of control, he will call into question his definition of home, humanity, destiny, and what it means to truly belong.

Rated Teen just in case for occasional swearing. This story takes place shortly after the end of Season 2, and the main character is from an Earth where MLP never existed (in order to preserve proper characterization). Or just assume he's never heard of it, that works too.

The title is not an Evangelion reference, I was just inspired by the wording scheme.

Vasili Anatolyevich Maksimov is not such a person. He has lived an exceptional life in a very short time in every sense of the word. It has been both exceptionally traumatizing and exceptionally rewarding. He rose from the depths of an abusive childhood that has left him in possession of a brilliant, if not deeply broken mind to touch the much valued reward of invention and comradeship. Only to find such treasures ring hollow in his jaded world view as his past is always on the tail of his today filling his life with pain.

Events beyond his understanding have trapped the broken misanthrope to a world so much like his own and tie the disaster he considers his life to those of six mares, each one loyal, kind, generous, honest and full of laughter; whose inherent nature may have the magic needed to mend his damaged self once and for all.

Finding Home, Discovering Life is an HiE (Human in Equestira) story, the ponies are Anthropomorphic just to let you know. Despite my description of Vasili "Vas" Maksimov above, you will notice the sad tag has been left out, that's because it is my goal to make this a story about hope and healing triumphing over inner darkness and deep emotional scars; it's also why I left out the tragedy tag. The Sex and Gore tags are there because I want to take the story into adult situations that will deal with everything from Vas's child abuse to an exploration of a budding relationship across species and the very real issues that may arise. Finally, while at this time there is no fate of the world adventure planned for this story yet it still has the Adventure tag, I for one can't think of any greater adventure than discovering a whole new world.

The story is a challenge to myself. An exercise in character development, world building and vocabulary. As always I don't have an editor, but I love feedback positive or negative, so feel free to leave it.

Avery, a 18 year old teen, wakes up in Equestria, seeing that now she was only 3 inches tall. But everything that came with her are regular size (Phone, wallet, clothes, etc.). Trying to adjust to her new size and secretly knowing of Equestria, will she be able to adjust to this? Will she be accepted to pony society?
