Its been just over six years since your injury. You're not sure what happened but apparently while flying over the city you lost control and plummeted to the ground. Thanks to the Princess you were still alive but with no memory of your life before the incident. But lately, you have been plagued with dreams that seem so familiar.

After investigating a strange portal, Fluttershy finds herself at the home of Dillan, a human. And she is very scared. She wants to go home, but the portal is closed. After experiencing a horrid belly ache from eating human food, she requests an odd remedy.

Life is crazy. Never mind the whirlwind that was winding up in Equestria in the first place; being married to an alicorn ex-princess doesn't exactly lend itself well to a quiet lifestyle. As such, your little hobby of building and painting Warhammer 40,000 models offers you some nice, calm respite.

Now, Celestia, who has been feeling self-conscious about not being able to relate to you, wants you to teach her about the hobby. You're more than willing to do so, and you're a very patient man.

Unfortunately, she isn't a very patient mare.

This story is a sequel to Better Go Catch It

Well, it's been a year since the last fridge raid. Your hard-fought battle alongside your wife, Celestia, ended in a questionable victory. You had indeed accomplished your goal of stealing the shortcake from Luna's fridge, but the two of you ended up getting sent to the moon in the process.

Now, the time has come for you and your excited wife to be on defense. Luna is sure to have countless tricks up her sleeve as she attempts to raid your fridge, and you have to be prepared for anything.

...This isn't going to go well, is it?

Life has been pretty terrific since you married the retired Celestia. You've done your best to be the kind of husband that she deserves, but one day, she mentions that you don't really get along with Luna all that well. As such, you decide to rectify that, ready to form a close relationship with your new sister-in-law.

Unfortunately, Luna seems intent on making that difficult for you.

Equestria can seem like a magical place where wonder and excitement await you at every turn. At least, it can to a human like you. Over time, though, you get used to it, and it's inevitable that the excitement will die down sometimes. Now is one of those times, as you and your wife Celestia wait in a stupidly long line at the market. What sort of magical antics will you get into to pass the time?

You're going to have a casual conversation, of course. What else would you do?

It's an extremely hot summer day. What better way to spend it than at a water park with your retired alicorn wife, Celestia? You've already gotten all of the thrills from the park's attractions that Celestia could ever want, and now it's time to relax for a while on the lazy river. But when the two of you find yourselves in a strange, almost liminal space, Celestia has more than a few concerns.

You, however, couldn't really care less.

Nature is a beautiful thing. That is especially true in Equestria, and you love every minute that you spend here.

Well, with the exception of one evening each year.

When good ol' nature says that it's the time of year for mares to be ready to reproduce, most have prepared more than enough methods of dealing with their urges one way or another. For most, it's about a week or two of mild discomfort. For alicorns, it's about six hours of uncontrollable urges and pure instinct.

And seeing as how you are the husband of the now-retired Celestia, you have every reason to fear for your life tonight.

There is no clop in this story, I swear.

Princess Celestia has long been aware of the existence of Daybreaker, a version of herself powered by fear, anger, and stress. Thankfully, Daybreaker only exists in her nightmares. At least, that's what she had hoped. In truth, with the mounting pressures being put upon her in an ever-advancing society, she has become acutely aware of the very real possibility that Daybreaker may one day overtake her. Now, it's up to you, her loving husband, to ensure that this does not come to pass.
