It was nearing the month of Hearth's Warming, and it was Nathan's first one, unlike Christmas back on his world, they didn't sing Christmas Carols, no Nativity decorations, no baby Jesus, no stars, shepherds from Bethlehem, nothing compared to Hearth's Warming, but there were still trees up, reeds, mistletoe, everything was hung up and to Nathan it still felt like Christmas.
He was getting better and better with controlling his wings, but it was still going to be a while before he was fully able to fly. Anyway, at the Crystal Castle, Cadance and Shining Armor were in their living room discussing something, something they were very happy to look forward to, when all of a sudden their conversation was interrupted by seeing Nathan entering the living room, wearing a sweater and sat down on the couch in between them.
"Mom, Dad, you all sound so excited, why is that?" Nathan asked.
"Sweetie we have some wonderful news." Cadance said
"What is it Mom?" Nathan asked
"Sweetie, I'm pregnant!" Cadance said
Nathan was suddenly overjoyed, his mother just did not say that.
"Mom, is that true?!" Nathan asked happily.
"Yes, dear, you're going to be a big brother soon!" Cadance said with glee.
Nathan got excited and jumped into Cadance's hooves and hugged her.
