Nathan and the others were strolling through the streets of Ponyville, passing by ponies as they strolled. Until they came across a really sweet looking building, it looked like a big gingerbread house, and the closer they got to it the more smells of sweets and pastries came towards Nathan's nose, boy did it smell good, now he really did want something sweet and delicious.
"Twilight, is this Sugarcube Corner?" Nathan asked
"Yes." Twilight answered.
They had finally entered the bakery, and what it had inside surprised Nathan dearly, pastries and cakes of every kind, cupcakes, danishes, etc. everything you could think of !
"Wait here, I'll be back." Pinkie Pie said, going behind the order desk to go get the owners.
A couple of seconds later, while Nathan and the others were waiting, the sudden sound of the back door opening snapped Nathan out of his patience, when he walked up to a stool to sit down, he saw that the owners were two married ponies with marks of pastries on their flanks, the female was wearing pink earrings had a pink mane, blue skin and fur, and was wearing an apron.
The other was a yellow male with an orange mane and tail and wearing a red bowtie and a bakery hat on his head. Nathan had never seen this, yet he really wanted something sweet to tingle his taste buds.
"Hey Pinkie Deary, let's not go..." the blue one said as she was cut off by the look of Nathan, along with her husband.
"Carrot, what is it?" she asked
"I don't know honey bun, he sure doesn't walk or stand like a pony." he said to his wife
"Mr. and Mrs. Cake, this is Nathan." Twilight said, "He's from a place called Texas in a country called the United States of America."
Mr. and Ms. Cake proceeded to walk up to Nathan and greet him with shoulder taps and hugs.
"Hi Mr. and Ms. Cake." Nathan said
"What are you, deary?" Ms. Cake asked
"Ah'm a human, and ah'm five." Nathan said
"You've got a cute little accent." Ms. Cake said
"Thanks Ms. Cake." Nathan said.
"Well anyway we're here for a treat or two." Rainbow Dash said
"Well Nathan we've got a lot of good pastries here, what kind of cake or pastry do you like?" Mr. Cake asked
"Ah' like chocolate cupcakes with white icing buttercream not whipped." Nathan said
"Okay, deary, we'll make it just the way you like it." Mrs. Cake said as she and her husband trotted into the kitchen to bake the cupcakes.
Nathan was waiting outside in the café along with Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Spike at the tables talking and chit-chatting about life, Luna becoming Nightmare Moon, defeating Discord the draconequus, Twilight and her friends defeating Queen Chrysalis and her changeling army from taking over Equestria at her brother's wedding, stopping King Sombra and saving The Crystal Empire, and last but not least, defeating Lord Tirek from stealing all the magic of Equestria.
"So that's why Mr. Shining and Ms. Cadance rule the Crystal Empire?' Nathan asked
"Yes, Nathan, we actually put the Crystal Heart back where it belongs, it protects the Crystal Empire from grave danger and it powers the city." Twilight said
"And what would the Crystal Empire be like if the heart was destroyed?" Nathan asked
"Everypony that lives there would die, and it would be nothing but a dark wasteland, in other words, The Crystal Empire would no longer exist."
"It was kind of cool that ya'll became crystal ponies for a while." Nathan said, "Boy ah' wish ah' was crystalized."
"Nathan, you're cupcakes are ready!" said Pinkie Pie as she and the Cakes came out of the kitchen with a bag filled with good sweet smelling chocolate cupcakes, when Nathan pulled one out to taste the icing it match exactly the description of how he wanted them to be.
"They're all yours deary." Ms. Cake said
"Oh, ah'm not keeping them to mahself." Nathan said turning his head towards Twilight and the others and opened the bag of cupcakes.
"Ah'll share 'em." Nathan said
"Oh no, kid, not your cupcakes." Rainbow Dash replied
"There mah' cupcakes, and ah'll do what ah' want with 'em." he said with a kind tone.
As Nathan started giving cupcakes to Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Spike, Mr. and Mrs. Cake were smiling at the generosity of a heart that this boy had for others.
"You know what Carrot?" Ms. Cake quietly asked
"What is it honey?" Mr. Cake asked also quietly
"He's really a sweet little boy." Mrs. Cake said, "I hope our twins will treat our customers like that."
That's when Nathan turned his attention back towards them, "Mr. and Mrs. Cake we have to go now, it was nice meetin' ya'll."
"Bye deary." Mrs. Cake said
"Bye Nathan." Mr. Cake said
"Bye Nathan." Pinkie Pie said, Nathan suddenly switched facial expressions.
"Pinkie Pie, don't tell me ya'll have ta' work too." Nathan said
"Don't worry, you can come here and visit anytime you want." Pinkie Pie said giving Nathan a hug.
Nathan returned the hug, "Thanks Pink." he replied, "Well see ya'll later." Nathan said taking a bite out of one of his cup cakes and heading out the door with Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy.
As Pinkie Pie watched Nathan leave she turned her attention towards the Cakes who were smiling in awe with her.
"Isn't he cute?" Pinkie Pie asked
"He more than cute, he's adorable." Mrs. Cake replied in a coo voice.
