Everypony and Nathan had reached the entrance to the Telstar Tavern, when they got inside Nathan was overwhelmed, it was an outdoor restaurant with a music stage, a view of a lake, thousands of tables filled with ponies eating their meals, the kitchen was on the right side with lots of good smelling dishes, however his hypnotism was cut off by the restaurant's director.
"Good evening madam's, how many do ve' have tonight?" he asked with his thick French accent.
"nine." Twilight said
The director then took notice on Nathan or to him.
"Is zat' two legged whatever, wiz you too?" he asked
Twilight knew who he was mentioning and turned to Nathan
"Oh yes, he's with us." Twilight said
"Well then, allow me to show you all to your table." he said, taking out 10 menus from the holster which was bolted in the wall. As he was walking away from the entrance with Twilight and the others following him, he found a table big enough for all of them, as everypony, including Nathan, found their seats, the director gave them their menus.
"Just to let you all know, our special today is clam and hay chowder, your waiter will be with you shortly." The director said leaving them to return to his post. While everypony else was slurping their lips at how delicious everything was on the menu, Nathan, on the other hand, wasn't so sure about what they had on their menus.
"Daffodil and Daisy Sandwich."
"Hay Fries."
"Grass and Oak Leaf Soup."
Nathan flipped and flipped through the menu there was absolutely no signs or trace of anything that had meat nor the beverages had anything that was related to Coca Cola or Pepsi products. Nathan put down his menu and rested his head on his arms on the table, to think he could've been having a hunger buster with his orphanage friends at DQ, that's when the little jingle from those DQ Texas commercials started playing in his head........

"DQ, That's what ah' like about Texas." he muttered
"What did you say?" Rainbow Dash asked
"Oh, ah' was jus' mutterin' a jingle from a restaurant back on mah' world, it's called DQ, short fer' Dairy Queen, they make the best beef burgers, chicken strips, ice cream blizzards, everythin' ya'll can think of, but I was mutterin' the jingle because ah' see ya'll don' eat meat, nor do ya'll drink soda." Nathan said disappointed.
"Hey, Nathan do you like pizza?" Spike asked
"Yeah, why?"
"Well, there's a good selection of pizza's on the last page, and there are some soda and other beverage selections on the back." Spike said helping Nathan.
Nathan flipped over to the last page and saw some really good pizza's, but still no pepperoni or sausage kinds, but instead, veggie, mushroom, olive and spinach, and regular cheese with stuffed crust, now the stuffed crust sounded and looked almost exactly like the stuffed crust pizza at Pizza Hut, it did look kind of delicious so he finally made up his mind, that's when their waiter came in to cater them.
"Hi my name is Razor Blade, I'll be taking care of you all this evening, to start what can I get you all to drink?" he asked levitating a notepad and a pen, he started with Applejack first.
"Ah'll have a strawberry lemonade." she said, the waiter then moved on to Applebloom.
"Ah'll have a lemon lime fruit water." Applebloom said, The next two were Rarity and Sweetie Belle
"I'll have an unsweetened iced tea." Rarity said
"I'll have a regular water." Sweetie Belle said, he then moved on to Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.
"I'll have a Dr. Hopper." Rainbow Dash said, next was Scootaloo
"I'll have a Hoova Cola." Scootaloo said, next was Fluttershy.
"Umm...I'll have a Marite." she said, next was Pinkie Pie.
"I'll have a root beer." she said, after that was Twilight.
"I'll have, what she's having," she pointed her hoof at Rarity, "an unsweetened iced tea."
Next was Spike, "I'll have a Lime-Aid."
Last but not least was Nathan, "Ah' guess ah'll have a sweet lemonade."
"Have you decided what you all would like, or do you all still need a few minutes?" the waiter asked
"No, I think we made our decisions." said Applejack.
Again the waiter walked back around the table and, once again, his first order was from Applejack.
"Ah'll have the roasted daffodil sub, no mayo." Applejack said
"Ah'll have the tomato and shredded leaf hay fries." Applebloom said
"I'll have a bay leaf salad." Rarity said
"And I'll have a fruit salad." Sweetie Belle said
After nearly half the table, the waiter finally got to Nathan, "And what will you have kid?"
"Ah'll take the stuffed crust pizza." Nathan said
"Do you want cheese, spinach leaf, olive, or mushroom?" the waiter asked
"Ah'll take the cheese." Nathan answered.
"All right I'll be back with you all's food when it's ready it may be an hour or two." the waiter said taking their menus and leaving.
"So Nathan, do you have a....." Once again, the question was cut off by a sudden interruption it was the sound of hoofsteps heading towards their table, that's when Nathan felt a hoof rubbing his wings in a ticklish kind of way but it felt good then there as a slight tug on them.
"Ouch, who's yankin' on mah' wings?" he asked, suddenly he felt whoever it was start rubbing them again, Nathan turned and saw that it was Princess Luna along with her sister Princess Celestia.
"I see you've got wings now, too bad they're not pegasi or alicorn." Princess Luna said
"Hi, Princess Luna." Nathan said embracing her, Luna returned the embrace, that's when Nathan felt a hoof tap his shoulder.
"Hey, don't I get a hug too?" Celestia asked opening one of her forehooves.
Nathan giggled, but instead of just hugging her, he jumped on her and wrapped his arms around her neck while wrapping his legs around her upper flank, Celestia wrapped her forehoof around him, Nathan took a good whiff at her body, she really smelled good, she really knew the correct kind of perfume, and he couldn't say the same about Luna, yet he managed to keep these things to himself.
Soon Celestia levitated him back into his seat and proceeded to sit by him while Luna sat next to Twilight.
"So what brings ya'll here tonight?" Nathan asked
"We always have dinner with them on Friday nights." Celestia said
"Yeah, as the royal princesses it is one of our duties to take a rest and feast with friends." Luna said
"Whoa." Nathan said
"Hey Princess Celestia, ya'll wanna know why Nathan has wings?" Applebloom asked
"Well Applebloom that's what I was really wondering." Celestia said
"Well it's because he had more courage than the rest of the fillies and colts at school today." Applebloom said
"What did he do?" Luna asked
"He stood up to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon when no one else would." Sweetie Belle answered.
"How?" Celestia asked, "Did he just tell her to leave you all alone?"
"No, ah' challenged her to a duel, and ah' won." Nathan said, Celestia was really jolted about this.
"Nopony has ever fought a bully before, why did you do that?" she asked
"Yeah, why didn't you just do it the pony way and just talk to her?" Luna asked.
"Let me tell ya'll a little somethin' that 'talkin' stuff don't work, no matter how many times you scold them, lecture them, or tell them to leave ya' alone, they will not stop. So sometimes even though you know it's wrong, you don't really have much of a choice, 'cause that's what a bully is always askin' fer', and ah' knew fer' once that Diamond Tiara was askin' fer' a kick in the butt, so that's what ah' gave to her, and she actually did leave us alone fer' the rest of the day, ain't that right Applebloom?"
"Well, come to think of it, yeah ah' didn't see her after the dismissal bell rang." Applebloom replied.
"Wow, I am really impressed, you must be pretty tough for a kid your age." Celestia said.
"Hey they say back home, 'Don't mess with Texas, and that also means a Texan." Nathan said.
That's when the waiter came back to take their orders, "My princesses, what will you two have?" he asked taking out his pen and notepad.
"We'll have an unsweetened iced tea and the daffodil grass special." Celestia said, that was her and Luna's favorite thing to eat.
Soon after the water left to finish up their orders.

A couple of hours had passed, soon the waiter, along with two waitresses came to their table with their orders in correct form, including Nathan's pizza and lemonade. As he and the others were enjoying their meals and drinks, the lights suddenly went out, and a sudden spotlight flashed down on the stage at the front end of the room, a curtain parted and out came a stallion with a microphone.
"GOOD EVENING EVERYPONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he said, as everyone in the restaurant applauded.
"And welcome to another Friday night, and that means another edition of 'Country on the Prairie', as you all know my name is Braeburn from Appleloosa, tonight we are going to see if anypony knows some good country music."
"Who's Braeburn?"Nathan asked
"Nathan, the reason why we come here on Friday nights 'cause of him." Applejack said
"Why him?" he asked
"Because Braeburn is our cousin." Applebloom said wrapping her hoof around her sister.
"Yer' kiddin' me." Nathan said
"Nnope." Applebloom said
Suddenly two more spotlights shined down on stage, "Oh great music light, see who we can get tonight." Braeburn said, the two extra spotlights started roaming around the restaurant until they stopped on Nathan.
"You, come on down here."
Nathan had never been so excited in his life, he did know one country song, he had it all memorized top to bottom, as he walked up towards the stage everypony in the restaurant applauded, including the princesses who were sitting with Twilight and her friends.
"Welcome to tonight's Country on the Prairie kid." Braeburn said
"Thank you." Nathan said
"So kid, what's your name?"
"Nathan."
"I have never seen a creature like you before, what are you?" he asked
"Ah'm a human, and ah'm the first and probably the only human to have wings." He said popping out his bat wings at the audience everypony gasped at this, they had heard of humans but they had never seen one with wings before, but they didn't care.
"So, Nathan, where are you from?" Braeburn asked
"Texas, United States of America." Nathan asked
"And how old are you?"
"Five."
"Do you know any country songs?"
"Hey ah' may be a kid, but ah' know one country song."
"Well let's hear it." Braeburn said applauding with everypony in the restaurant
Nathan started to sing 'Mud on the Tires' by Brad Paisley
