The year in 1915. One year has passed since the beginning of the Great War, between the entente powers and the Central Powers.

One Imperial German soldier went to an expedition to Canada, and in Vancouver, finds a portal. Kaisers Wilhelm II and Franz Joseph, along with Sultan Mehmed V and Tsar Ferdinand I all go through this portal, and enter into a world known as Equestria. Perplexed by a world of magical ponies, the Central Powers align with Equestria's Princess, Celestia, and we find out how this plays out.

Equestria has appeared in the North Pacific, and the first thing that greets this new land is an American bomber, carrying a very special cargo, falling out of the sky. Now the race is on between the two superpowers to prove the justice and superiority of their two divergent ideologies in order to claim the prize, an entirely new nation.

Over a thousand years ago Starswirl the Bearded wrote his last spell, an incantation that by his own admission was "broken and unfinished". Centuries later Twilight Sparkle derived from it the spell that allowed her to ascend and become an alicorn. But while she was able to reverse the effects of the spell on her friends, they weren't the only ones affected.

This is a story for those who think Celestia and Luna retiring is a bad idea, and that Twilight found her true calling as a teacher rather than a ruler.
