Yeah, despite me making a post of 'inspired' stories, I'm still continuing to make them. I guess there have been some of my inspired stories where they actually are... inspired while other stories are just some video or whatever but just with different characters. And also, in my opinion, it was too perfect not to use these characters... which just so happens to be my first G5 fic. So this story was created just so that I can use G5 ponies.

Equestria is gone. From the splendor bones of Canterlot, Zephyr Heights has risen as a rallying force for pegasi everywhere – a city free of unicorns and earth ponies influence. All that remains for the fledgling city is to cleanse itself of old Equestrian propaganda. The city’s old airship station, which once allowed ponies of the other tribes to freely enter the city, is the perfect place to start.

Not all pegasi are on board with the idea. The poor fools have no idea that they stand against the rising tide of change.

While closing up at a dollar store, a human named Jay finds a pony toy sitting on one of the shelves. He decides to take it home.

He never expected it to talk to him.

During Twilight's reign, all three tribes mixed. Cakes taught us that genes from ancestors of different tribes pop up randomly. What if a non-pegasus gene appears in Zepher Heights royalty? What if Zipp isn't the oldest? Then who is and what happened to her? How will she take the news?

"So... you weren't going to tell me?" The pink pegasus had tears in her eyes, feeling like a tiny filly again as she looked up at her mother.

"Dearest..." There was sorrow in Queen Haven's eyes, and Pipp didn't even need to hear what she'd say next. She already knew she was right. But her mother spoke anyway. "Before today, it wouldn't have mattered."

Discord goes a little too far in his pranks, and Starlight blasts him into oblivion. Since he's a douche, Starlight will stop at nothing to make sure he's gone forever.

Wait, what do you mean Starlight wasn't the one that killed him?

Trixie had a great sense of direction. So clearly, if she'd ended up facing a wall, it was the street that had been wrongly built. Those crystal ponies, who couldn't even build a road right. But it wasn't a problem, if the Empire's misguided decisions in building their cities rendered her superior sense of orientation useless then she'd just have to ask for directions.

She just had to find someone in the cold, empty, dusty back alley devoid of any other pony. The disembodied horn on the ground would have to do.

A Changeling left behind when Queen Chrysalis attempted to take over Canterlot. She found herself with memory lost and stranded in the heart of the castle. Needing to find a way to survive in the kingdom, due to the shield around castle that would not let her pass though, she had to find a way to feed on love without drawing any attention to her. Slowly she found a way to do just that. Creating a persona that would fit in with the normal ponies and yet let her feed when she is hungry. Thus Melody Echo was born. She was always good at mimicking sounds and echopraxia. Using her sound ability, she listened to famous singers that would come to Canterlot to preform and the shops that offers musical training. After some time, the shield was eventually lifted and she was able to leave, but she choose to stay. Even if she did leave, where would she go? The last thing she can remember is attacking the ponies during the raid, then nothing. Making Canterlot home, even if it is in disguise, let her guard down one day, another pony changes everything.

Argyle Starshine returns to Maretime Bay, surprising Sunny and her friends who were under the impression that he was dead! Understandably, Sunny is thrilled to be reunited with her father. Izzy Moonbow is happy, too, but can't shake the feeling that something is off about Argyle. And when Sunny begins acting abnormal, Izzy's concerns only grow.
