Rainbow Dash is widely known for her propensity for pranks. While seeing an unsuspecting Anonymous the human in the outskirts of Ponyville, Rainbow decides to hit him with classic from her arsenal, the ol' lightning stomp prank. It's simply really, she's played it on tons of ponies before.

Rainbow didn't think Anon would get hurt. She didn't think he'd become paralyzed. It was supposed to be a harmless prank!

This story was rewritten by me and a couple of non-brony friends of mine.

Some whispers of an age before ponies had eroded after about 3,000 years. Naturally, after they've been forgotten, a Human wakes up from stasis. There, in the land of magical sapient miniature horses, the world of Harmony, friendship and thousands of colours, the human with no name once again is confronted with his old problems. Will he try to run this time?

Hello and welcome! This is my first story here and my first fanfiction ever. Also this story is kinda like my training ground both as a writer and as an English speaker - it isn't my mother language. This all means that I will take time to improve my style and grammar and will periodically rewrite some chapters in the future and will welcome all the critique.

What to expect: The primary genre of the story will be "slice of life". Althogh it has a "romance" tag, this story, as a first part of my planned big project, will show only seeds and first sprouts of friendship and romantic feelings (if I'll be able to pull it off).

This story will also feature some rewritten episodes from the show and will start shortly after the Season 4 Premiere. While in some cases the chronology of the episodes will be intact, I may consider to change places of some episodes for the sake of the story, or even grab plot from episodes of different seasons.

Minor spoiler alert: As a basis for one of the chapters of this work I'll use the excellent story published on this site. Of course, I checked with its author and, per my promise, I give the credit here (yet, because this chapter in question will basically be sequel to this story of some sorts, I'm hiding it in spoilers). A man is mistakenly taken from his home after a botched experiment and is stuck in Equestria as a creature called a hippogriff. After Princess Celestia fails to return him back to Earth and back to his original from, and after some time feeling angry and depressed, he decides to buy an old Cabin Cruiser sky ship and embarks on a journey to explore every inch of the world and live out his days in solitude.

At least, that's what he thought he was gonna do until he meets a unicorn named Tempest Shadow. Join Maverick as his quest of solitude turns into a quest of adventure, treasure hunting, romance, and doing whatever the heck he wants with his pirate crew of misfits called the Sky Pirate Cowboys. (He didn't name it. Stop laughing.)
