Rainbow Dash would always be there for Twilight, even when her other friends are not. Something is not right in Ponyville. Since her coronation as an Alicorn Princess, Twilight has been blamed for things she clearly didn't do, and everypony but Rainbow, Scootaloo, and Spike have disowned her. Everypony knew about Dash's feelings for Twilight, everypony but Twilight that is. As the girls come together for a slumber party, Rainbow Dash finally sees her chance to tell Twi how she feels. With her friends behind her Rainbow Dash throws caution to the wind!

Twilight's only had her wings for about a week, only a little shorter than the time since she started dating Rainbow Dash. She's yet to learn how to preen, and Rainbow's willing to help teach her!

(As a note, you can get the original source of the picture by clicking it. The original is beautiful and has Fluttershy in it as well, but I had to edit her out (poorly) to fit the story. Please don't hate me for editing her out; she's my second-favorite pone, but she doesn't fit in the story!)

When Twilight arranges a group camp-out, the ponies end up discussing their dream stallions around the campfire. Everyone is surprised by what they learn about each other, and the two ponies least interested in romance find they have a lot in common.

Originally written in February of 2011 and posted first to /co/ then EqD, this was my first story and one of the original pieces of TwiDash. This has been edited for inclusion on FIMFiction, with thorough proofreading & editing by Double Dash. Do keep in mind this was written halfway through season 1 and without much of the information we've received in later seasons. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have been hanging out a lot lately. But that's just because they're such good friends, right?

The Equestrian Industrial Revolution is in full swing. Rainbow Dash returns to a drastically changed Ponyville and to Twilight Sparkle, her last friend in the city. She must rekindle the bonds of love and friendship before the winds of change render the Elements of Harmony irrelevant. Even in a world of steel, fire and glass, loyalty is needed more than ever.

Twilight is the bearer of the Element of Magic, or is she? is it possible that the logic is in reverse? Twilight must learn that every action has consequences.
