During the Discordian Era, Chaos ran free, allowing many monsters to establish solid footholds. Footholds that were lost when Celestia and Luna cast down Discord and took his place as the rulers of Equestria. Now, many thousands of years later, the Elements of Harmony, the very same tools that struck down Discord, belong to six individual ponies. Six vulnerable ponies. An ancient draconic vampire begins his campaign of revenge, uncaring of who is caught up within it. His first target? The Element of Magic, student of Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle.

AU. Based on the first season. Twilight and Celestia begin to drift apart due to a misunderstanding. Will Luna speak up and repair the breach, or will she remain silent to keep her new friend, Twilight, all to herself? What other challenges will face everypony involved because of this new relationship?

Twilight recieves rather late invitation from Princess Celestia for the first "Winter Solstice" celebration for Princess Luna. And while staying there, something is going to change...

Celestia is tired of being a ruler. She decides to go on vacation, leaving Luna in charge of... pretty much everything. Celestia expects her sister to take care of such things like raising the sun every morning or receiving letters from Twilight.

However, Luna is not happy about her new duties. She never really wanted to be the ruler of Equestria. To make the matter worse, Luna is actually clueless what to do... Will somepony help her? Will she find the way to make Celestia return to Canterlot?

Luna, the princess of the night, struggles with loneliness and the weight of her past mistakes. Seeking solace in the stars and the silence of her library, she stumbles upon Twilight Sparkle, a young and curious student of magic and with a passion for astronomy.

This is a what if Nightmare night never happened and Twilight meets Luna in a completely different way.

Twilight Sparkle has grown old, she’s done so much in her life and influenced so many ponies. Surrounded by the graves from her friends and the memories of her life. But from all these memories, she has only one who still lives, one who still breathes, and one who she wants to see, just once more, before her time ends.

Since her return and rescue, Princess Luna has been looking for some way to properly honor the six mares who saved her from herself, but nothing she has been able to think of has seemed meaningful enough to repay her saviors.

Nothing, at least, until she spends Nightmare Night in Ponyville, and gets to actually know the six ponies to whom she owes such a great debt. She realizes she enjoys their company, and wishes for them to spend more time with her, that she might grow closer to them.

So, in accordance with many fine and ancient traditions, and after thinking it over for a good...couple of hours, easy, she proclaims that she shall marry all six of them. Oh, and that Twilight will be marrying Celestia, too.

Now would be the appropriate time for everypony to panic.
